We bought one years ago because of your post…BEST KITCHEN PURCHASE EVER! I also found the simplest recipe that is super easy and my family loves. …and flavorings…try Torani sugar free syrups…it’s life changing! On deck today is white cloud cherry vanilla:) Vanilla ice cream with Torani cherry flavoring, sliced maraschino cherries and a few veins of fluff. This year we also started making sorbets and my kids have perfected slushies in it as well. This machine is not cheap but long term it will save you a ton of money and give you peace of mind knowing what your kids are actually eating.
Best ice cream maker out there. I’ve had it for a few years now and it’s still going strong. My family had a lot of food allergies, so it has made it possible for me to make my own “safe” ice cream. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for an ice cream maker!

While this ice cream maker does make delicious ice cream, for me, this is a regrettable purchase. The machine is huge but makes such a small amount of ice cream. When we make ice cream, it is usually for an event with a lot of people. It takes so many batches to get a decent amount of ice cream so the whole process becomes tedious. Just my opinion.
