In case you needed a reason to love IKEA even more, they offer an affordable and easy way to make gourmet latte drinks right in your own home! 😍 Say hello to IKEA’s $2.99 milk frother!

I’m excited to share some really inexpensive IKEA products that team members as well as many of you readers rave about! The best part? They’re all under $10 – so the next time you’re strolling through that big blue store, feeling a bit overwhelmed, you’ll know just what’s worth scooping up.

In just 15-20 seconds, you can have frothy milk or cream to pour over your homemade drinks and take your barista skills to a whole new level! And since the cost of this frother is less than a specialty drink at Starbucks, I’d say it’s totally worth it. So not only will it help prepare delicious lattes and other hot beverages, but it will also save you money from grabbing one during your future outings. 😉

Hip Tip: Speaking of Starbucks, here’s one copycat Starbucks drink Lina made that you can totally create at home with your new IKEA milk frother!

Here are some other reasons we think you’ll love this milk frother:

  • It can be used for either hot or cold milk.
  • Froths milk quickly in 15-20 seconds.
  • It’s lightweight.
  • Easy to store away when not in use.
  • It’s just $2.99!
  • Battery operated.
  • Easy to wipe clean with a damp cloth.
  • Whisk is made of stainless steel.

Here’s what Alana from our team said about her frother:

“I have a frother from IKEA and also a more expensive one that I paid about $15 for and the IKEA one works just as well! The milk is frothy and all my drinks taste so much yummier now.”

Check out what some other people said about their IKEA PRODUKT Milk Frother:

“I bought this a few weeks ago and it’s perfect for so many uses! I’ve made yummy milk for espresso and cappuccino and have even used it to mix my protein drink.”

– Jean ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

“I have been using this IKEA milk frother for 2 years and is the best bang for your buck! I have also bought additional ones as gifts for family and friends and they love them too!”

– India ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

“This little guy is cheap, but such a great little workhorse. Don’t let its kind of flimsy appearance fool you – you can use with Keto creamers or to make lovely, frothy, bulletproof coffee easily. Disclaimer: don’t fill your mug more than half full, or you’ll make a mess (best to use a tall mug). Also, AA batteries do fit, you just have to slide one over a little bit under the latch so they sit side by side.”

– Emily ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I agree, Alli! Awesome gift idea for sure!

  2. Betty

I have 2 of these (1 for backup). I highly recommend it, use it a few times a week with my Nespresso 🙂

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Yay! Thanks so much for the recommendation, Betty! Glad you have been loving yours!

  3. Aunt Jenny

I bought one in May because I wanted to spend less at Starbucks and to put a stop to store bought flavored creamers and eventually go drinking black coffee. I really enjoy the creamy/frothy milk I get using half and half. This little frother is awesome, however, I forgot I wanted to stop using creamers all together lol.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

LOL! Thanks for commenting! Good to know how well it has worked for you!

  4. PM

I love it too..Works well for such a great price!

  5. Marie

Just a note, it doesn’t come with batteries. My daughter bought one for college and didn’t realize it until she got there.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks so much for the helpful comment, Marie! Good to know!

I have one but haven’t been able to make it work. I should try it again. Can someone tell me exactly how they use it? (coffee first, or do the milk/cream in another cup or what?) TIA!

    • RB

I pour a little cream or milk in my mug and microwave it for 10-20 seconds. (The goal is warm, but not boiling. Boiling changes the flavor of milk.) Then I use the frother to get it all nice and foamy. Then I pour in my coffee. I try to pour it in on the side of the mug so it doesn’t disturb the foam too much. I don’t usually do sweetener in my coffee, but when I do, I use two cups — so I mix coffee and sugar in one, make foam in the other, then spoon the foam on the coffee. Hope that makes sense, lol.

Works great to mix chocolate and strawberry milk!

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Ooh! That sure sounds yummy! Thanks for the tip!

  9. h1pst3r

I would buy this, but the shipping cost kills the deal for me.

  10. MCouzens

I have had mine for many years and it works great. No need for a bulky overpriced version. It is also super easy to clean unlike some of the other milk frothers I have seen.

  11. Maureen H

Mine finally died but it did last two years…not bad for the price!

Does Amazon have a good one? I’m not anywhere near an iKEA.
