Crock-Pot Hot Chocolate | Grinch Holiday Party Drink

Crock-Pot Grinch Hot Chocolate

yield: 8 SERVINGS

Ingredients

  • 12 oz white chocolate baking chips
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 6 cups milk
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • a few drops of green food coloring
  • red heart sprinkles
  • whipped cream and marshmallows for topping

Directions

Combine the white chocolate chips, heavy cream, milk, and vanilla extract into a Crock-Pot slow cooker, and stir.

Close the lid, and turn slow cooker to low setting for about 1-2 hours until the chocolate is melted. Give it a stir a couple times while melting. Whisk in few drops of green food coloring.

Turn the slow cooker to the warm setting to serve during your party. Top with heart sprinkles and any other toppings like marshmallows and whipped cream.

  • If you’re not wanting this drink to be green or “Grinchy”, just omit the green food coloring and use this recipe as a great white hot chocolate option. Serve with any of your favorite toppings like whipped cream and marshmallows. I think crushed candy canes would be yummy, too!
