I recently made a bunch of frozen watermelon on a stick for my daughter’s picnic-themed birthday party and it was a big hit!
Something about putting fruit on a stick makes it very appealing for little ones (and adults too!). I served mine in a bowl, and then placed the bowl on top of a larger bowl filled with ice to keep the watermelon cold. My family enjoyed these and I hope yours does too!
Good idea Lina!
I did the same thing for my daughters bday party. It was a watermelon themed one. Pureed up some watermelon and made watermelon lemonade. Everyone loved it and it was super cute.
Super smart! I need to get myself some super cheap sticks at the dollar store. It’s been in the low 90’s here in Northern CA, so we’ve been eating lots of cold dinners & watermelon for healthy snacks 😊
Cool idea! I’ll have to try that… I’ve also heard freezing grapes makes for great snacks too… I have to try that one also…
Freeze grapes and sliced bananas. Yummy
Very cool!!!!! No pun intended….. Lol
That looks really good!
Thank you for the idea, will do it for daughter’s bday in June
You’re welcome Anna 🙂
This looks so yummy and so awesome!
How cute! Thanks Lina!
My mom use to do these for us growing up. She would dip them in chocolate, like with the bananas…YUM!!
We love to dehydrate watermelon! It makes a sweet fruit jerky style treat. So yummy and portable.
I going to make that. Super cute!
Honestly, I look forward to Lina’s posts as much as I look forward to Colin’s shopping videos 😉 I have tried just about every recipe and they have turned out AWESOME!!! I also have so many mason jars, my pantry resembles an old-timey general store – love it!!! Thank you so much ladies for bringing a smile to my face every single day!!!!
Thanks Jennifer! That’s super nice and made my day 🙂
