What if I said we can make raw carrots taste like Doritos?!

If you are looking for a fun way to jazz up crunchy raw veggies like carrots, try adding Hidden Valley Fiesta Ranch dry seasoning to raw carrot chips! I had no idea this TikTok food trend existed until recently and now that I do – GAME ON! This seasoning is zesty, full of flavor, a little spicy, and so darn yum!

Carrots and Hidden Valley Fiesta Ranch seasoning is a brilliant combo!

You can try using plain Ranch seasoning if preferred, but this Fiesta flavor is insanely good. Raw carrots are already so crunchy, it just makes sense to add dry seasoning straight away for a genius 2 ingredient crunchy snack. Plus I love how frugal carrots are. A 1-pound bag of sliced carrot chips is just $1.58 at my Walmart!

I am now wanting to experiment with other crunchy veggies like raw bell pepper and cauliflower!

Overall this was such a surprisingly delclious snack!

I highly recommend giving it a go. Even my teenagers were fans. I will also be using this seasoning again as it’s delclious. Perhaps I’ll make a sour cream dip, wings, or burgers.

“We add this seasoning to make a nice healthy Greek yogurt and cottage cheese dip. I keep it on hand in the fridge all the time for veggies, chips and even baked potatoes.

“I use it as a coating on my ” Fiesta Fried Chicken Wings” after I fry my wings, the fiesta seasoning is placed in a brown paper bag for a good dusting of the fried “Fiesta Wings” the best! I also add it to sour cream for dipping my vegetables.”

“I’ve used it to add to my elebrate hamburger mix, whether broiling/baking in the oven, but especially grilled, it’s the perfect ingredient. Makes that burger so good on the buds. I dubbed my hamburgers as “kick burgers ” because biting into them, the unsuspecting tastebuds get a surprising and satisfying kick.”

wonder if they’d get crispy in the air fryer 🤔

    • Lina D (Hip2Save Sidekick)

I am sure they would taste great in the air fryer! Maybe with a little olive oil. Unsure if it would be crispy on the inside though? I will try that next time! Great idea.
