Simple sheet pan meals are everything!

My new favorite is this delicious one-pan steak and veggies meal I recently made! This recipe features a rosemary caper butter to melt on top of the steaks at the end, and it adds so much yummy flavor.

Hip Tip: Heating up your rimmed sheet pan in the oven first will give steaks a nice sear around the outside. If you wanted to, you could instead give them a quick sear on the stove first.

There are so many possibilities and variations to this idea! Pick veggies that your family would love, like parboiled small potatoes. This herb butter is an added step that is definitely worth a few minutes of time!

This was one of the BEST sheet pan meals we’ve made!

There are seriously only a few steps to it, and the entire family loved it. Such an easy meal idea for any busy family (and it’s low-carb, too)!

Have you tried Kerrygold’s Garlic & Herb butter? It can be hard to find but it is amazing! We slather it over our Thanksgiving and Xmas turkeys while they cook. I’ve used it to cook steaks before so I know it would be good in this recipe too. If you can find it, give it a try!

    • Lina D

Um no! I would love that โค๏ธ

  7. Tolu

Kerrygold is the best butter. Another good one is Anchor Butter. Not sure they sell it in the US though.

    • Lina D

      Yes we are obsessed! โค๏ธ

I made your pesto veggie and chicken(?) last week. I cut the recipe in half for just my husband and me. I used pork loin chops cut into chunks (our local Fareway had them 10/$10). OH MY! WINNER! Your kids were right…EVERYTHING TASTES BETTER WITH PESTO! EVEN VEGGIES! Speaking of veggies, I used broccoli, cauliflower and Brussels sprouts. I’ll def make again…especially when the asparagus comes up! Keep these coming! I’m trying very hard to prepare simple yet healthy and tasty meals for 2 people.

    • Lina D

Yay! Iโ€™m so happy! Thanks for sharing and youโ€™ll love this too. ๐Ÿ‘

I don’t know how to even use my broiler… would this be okay in the regular oven?

    • Lina D

In my oven itโ€™s the hottest setting. Hope that helps.

In a regular bake setting the heat comes from the bottom of the oven. In a broil setting the heating coil on the top is used and the heat comes from the top. You want to adjust the oven racks closer to the top of the oven as well. Watch the steaks carefully and turn before they get too crispy because it is quite a hot oven. It is super easy and quick to broil. Experiment with different marinades for completely different tastes.
