Peanut Butter and Jelly Shake

Ingredients

For the milkshake:

  • 2 cups vanilla ice cream
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter
  • 3-4 strawberries, sliced
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

For the topping::

  • whipped cream
  • chocolate syrup
  • peanuts
  • sprinkles
  • cherry or strawberry garnish

Directions

Place milkshake ingredients in a blender. Blend until smooth. This took about 10 seconds in my blender.

Pour into a glass and top with suggested topping ideas. Enjoy!

This happens to be a Disney inspired recipe idea from the park’s nostalgic 50’s Prime Time Cafe, and I have to admit it’s a really yummy milkshake flavor to explore!

My daughter and I even created this video to show you all how easy it is to make homemade peanut butter and jelly milkshakes –

How does salty and rich peanut butter mixed with sweet strawberries and vanilla ice cream sound? You really cannot go wrong with this winning combo. YUM!

Tip when making a peanut butter and jelly milkshake:

    • You can use strawberry jam instead of fresh strawberries. Or, if something like grape jelly is preferred, it’s easy to swap out your favorite jelly or preserves flavors.

Turns out peanut butter & jelly shakes are so yummy!

I’ll be adding peanut butter in every shake from now on — oh my, it tastes that great! You can really have fun with this idea and customize it with your favorite peanut butter and ice cream brands you like (I love Skippy peanut butter and Tillamook ice cream).

My kids had the idea of adding peanut butter Captain Crunch cereal next time – yum!
