And if the circle-shaped table doesn’t suit your needs, the MAMMUT Series also carries a rectangle-shaped table, too. Perfect for any miniature gathering.

Why you’ll love this kid’s table:

    • Heavy-duty design, yet lightweight & easy to move.
    • Round edges and no sharp corners.
    • Can be used indoor or outdoor and withstand rain, sun, snow, and dirt.
    • Pair with matching MAMMUT chairs & stools.
    • Easy to wipe clean
    • Made from recyclable BPA-free, food-safe plastic, the same material used in baby bottles, disposable diapers & food boxes.
    • Very easy to assemble by simply clicking the legs on.

Some cons reviewers want you to consider:

    • None!

“My toddler son absolutely loves this table! It makes him feel so special and proud because it’s the perfect size and height for him. I got a few different colors of MAMMUT stools and one MAMMUT chair. This table can be assembled in minutes and is durable – don’t let the plastic construction fool you! It makes it light to move and also easy to clean.”

2. RESÖ children’s picnic table

Let’s take this party outside! This picnic table will be the perfect addition to your backyard or patio. No matter where you set it up, we see many real (and perfectly pretend) BBQs to come! 😉

Why you’ll love this kid’s table:

    • Traditional and timeless design
    • Made of 100% renewable solid wood in beautiful semi-transparent gray-brown stain
    • Can use VÅRDA outdoor wood stain to re-stain.
    • Recommended for outdoor use.
    • Possible to separate for recycling.

Some cons reviewers want you to consider:

    • It’s small and can only fit 4 kids at a time. Also may not be big enough for them to fit their lunch boxes on the top.
    • The wood warped after a couple of months.

“This table is perfect for my 12-month-old and my oldest who will be 4-years-old this summer. I’ve even enjoyed sitting at this table with my kiddos and I’m 5 feet tall and weigh 105 pounds. The table height is an inch above knees, built strong, and best of all it only took about 15 minutes to put it all together!”

3. FLISAT children’s table

wood table and stools sitting on concrete floor

A perfect place to enjoy a snack or build their next LEGO City building, this table has the best of both worlds since it can store toys inside! Out of sight, out of mind, moms!

Here are a couple of chairs/stools that I’d recommend with this table:

As a parent, you can totally appreciate the sleek and hidden ability to store small toys like LEGO’s, Barbies, or all the crafts your heart can handle. At perfect arms reach for little ones when it’s time to play and simple design to make clean-up easier. So when the kiddos aren’t playing, you’re not seeing the mess! Win, win!

Why you’ll love this kid’s table:

    • Versatile tabletop with the ability to store toys inside bins—easy for kids to open.
    • Compatible with TROFAST storage boxes – not included with table.
    • Easy to wipe clean.
    • Durable tabletop and legs made of solid birch.
    • 80% of the table is made of renewable wood.
    • Product possible to recycle

Some cons reviewers want you to consider:

    • Wood isn’t as durable as hoped—it has cracked and dings easily over time.

“This table is exactly what I was hoping for. It’s made of wood (not particle board) and was VERY easy to assemble! It’s very solid and is perfect for meals, sensory play, and art projects. I love the added ability to have bins, which we use for various different types of sensory play (water beads, rice, dry beans, water play, rocks, etc.) and the other side has been perfect for LEGOs. I highly recommend it! It is also easy to wipe clean and seems water-resistant.”

    • Too easy for kids to pick up.
    • Wood split during assembly.

“This set is amazing! It was easy to put together and is extremely durable and firm. My 16-month-old loves it, too. It’s the perfect size for him and looks amazing in our home. Caution on the white and light colored wood one. We had that one and my very well behaved toddler lol, used it as a stool and the legs just snapped underneath her. So if you have a climber and they would use this chair for other purposes, likes playing with light switches, getting a snack etc. This might not be the chair for them.

Wow. Thanks for the honest feedback. Our daughter’s nickname is Monkey Fingers…she can literally pick up her whole body onto the kitchen counter using just her fingers. She’s seven. Loves to climb so it’s definitely a pass for us. Was thinking of getting it for our grandson ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Thank you so much for letting us know! We sure appreciate that, sharon!

We had that set for years, and my little was that type too but we kept it in the kitchen and had a gate blocking that area without an adult. Nothing ever snapped on it but we put it together securely and used wood glue. I wouldn’t recommend an adult sit in these chairs though because an adult relative thought that would be okay!?… And the chair didn’t break down but the white part (thinner wood part) started to buckle and I repaired it. The set is worth the 29.99 but I’d recommend getting one of the nicer sets for a bit more if you want it to be something nice enough to pass on. I just tossed this when my child outgrew it.

Does ikea ever do free shipping?

    • taylorstover

I have never seen free shipping from them

Warning: number 4. the FLATT one is very light and tips backwards very easily. We had it and I wouldn’t recommend that one. Not sturdy.

    • Katrina

THe chairs tip backwards I mean.

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

      Thank you, Katrina!

  4. Tatyana

I don’t recommend white LATT table and chair. It didn’t last through one kid. Not sturdy and broke fast.

We got COSTCO version that is good as new after two kid used it. Adults can sit in these Costco chairs as well – thats how sturdy it is. Height is also better than in Ikea version (LATT/Ikea height is great for toddlers only).
