Hello, not sure if any of you are all aware, but coupons.com is shutting down by the end of the year. (if not sooner) (June)
no more printable coupons. :(. they will turn into a shopping app called shopmium. (think ibottta) from what I heard 3 months ago.
I’m going to miss printing their coupons, for me 20 years. it seems companies, stores are all going digital, where they have more control. printable’s have lead to counterfeit coupons, which had become multi million dollar business.
anyhow as a long time paper clipper couponer, the end is near and I am sad. 🙁
hopefully we can still get the sunday inserts. but even that could be in jeopardy. the goal is to go 100% digital in the coupon world.
Thanks, Annie. ❤️ We’ll keep a lookout for any official information on that.
I will be so sad to see it go. I’ve been couponing for almost 40 years, starting with my college roommate though I do remember my mom using coupons for Jello which were valued at 8 cents off per purchase. Now retired, everything goes up except our paycheck so we need to find all ways to save where we can. Not everyone has access to digital coupons and good paper coupons are getting hard to find. My husband knows purchases are those that are necessities or on sale, even better with a coupon or we don’t buy. Sometimes have strange purchases in my cart but we stock up when we can. I have even heard from a worker at Kroger that they are soon doing away with their printable weekly advertisement…you will need to get the ad online. I’m not looking forward to an all digital world but guess I will have to adapt. 🙁
I am sad to hear that too. I don’t print a lot these days but I do sometimes. I usually just scan my receipt for my coupon off and it goes to paypal. I will miss them. So sorry to see them go.
I’ve also got an Ibotta offer for 75 cents on the Lightlife hot dogs, just FYI
Thanks, Carrie! We’ll check it out! 🤗
I know they are shutting down the printables on coupons.com. I’m assuming we will still have the coupons.com app?
We’ll be sure to keep an eye out for any details we find on that, Debbie!
Thank you Amber.
You bet! 🤗
