Stuck in an entertainment rut?
Having thousands of options at our fingertips sounds great, but I know a lot of folks (myself included) get overwhelmed by the choices and end up watching the same show we’ve seen 100 times already. 😆
If that sounds like you, we’ve got you covered! There are just so many options for what to watch on Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Disney+, Hulu, Peacock, Paramoun+, and Apple TV, but thankfully, the Hip2Save team always has great suggestions!
Here are some of our team’s recommendations for the best streaming shows:
Best shows on Prime Video:

The Boys
Fitting the sci-fi, comedy, and drama genres all at once, The Boys hilariously depicts the world of superheroes as if it were realistic in modern-day society. Just keep in mind while it may be about superheroes, this is not a show to watch with the kiddos given its 18+ viewer recommendation and mature themes.

Love chilling at home? Make your space even cozier with these recent home deals!
Sweet Magnolias on Netflix, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel on Amazon Prime, The Maid on Netflix (One of the BEST and most realistic series I have ever watched.) Please note that none of these are for children. Although my family did love Troop Zero and we all watched it together 12 and up 🙂
Rings of power and Agatha are hot garbage. It is like you pulled this directly from the studios themselves.
Sorry to hear you weren’t a fan of those. Thanks for your honest thoughts on those movies, JIm.
I highly recommend Lessons in Chemistry on and Masters of the Air on Apple TV. Both are for mature audiences.
Thanks a bunch for your recommendations, Tiffany! ❤️
On MAX . watch all seasons of Hacks! reminds me of the comedy of Schitt’s Creek! 😘
Thanks for the suggestion, Samantha!
If you end up liking Landman, you’ll likely enjoy all things Taylor Sheridan. 1883 and 1923 are amazing. Mayor of Kingstown and Tulsa King too! Also adding (bc Billy Bob) the Fargo anthology is like, whoa 😮
Appreciate you taking the time to share some others to check out, Jim! Thanks!
Agree! Mayor of Kingstown is not my normal genre, but it was such a great show. I’ve binged it all in a short amount of time.
Narcos on Netflix. About Pablo Escobar n other cartels in Columbia. Got into it much more than expected. Shows a lot of actual footage. Great cast. Thanks for this post too. Keep it coming please.
