If you purchase a membership online, can you start shopping right away or do you need to go to the club to get a card and activate the membership?
Hi Pam! I found this on Costco website. ” The Costco membership purchase must be completed first and you will immediately receive an order confirmation email with your new membership number. You may then use your membership number to purchase any of our Member Only Items on Costco.com.” Hope that’s helpful!!💕

e….thank you sooooo much. I’ve been waiting for a Groupon deal since we had a Costco open up near us
we tried last year & again this year to use our executive reimbursement 2% check to ask them to reimburse the $60 to upgrade & were told no. we were given the option to use to downgrade to a gold membership or stay at an executive membership. not sure we’ll spend $3k to get $60 back for upgrade- we went with gold. doubt we’ll renew though- $10/month is a bit much to justify a stellar deal on amazing cake!
