Fall is coming to a door near you!

Today I’m sharing how you can decorate your front porch or door for fall using affordable & festive Hobby Lobby decor on a budget! It’s one of the easiest ways to spruce up your home and gear up for cooler days ahead.

Plus, they’re all in stock online now so you can shop from your couch and continue sipping on that pumpkin spice or apple pie drink from Starbucks. 😉

Hobby Lobby has so much fall decor to choose from! 😍

The best part about Hobby Lobby’s fall decor is that it sometimes goes on sale – for as much as 50% OFF! Lucky for you, the fall decor sale happens to be right now, so don’t hesitate to add these items to your cart because they’re selling out fast!

I started with some fall basics.

Since there’s so much gorgeous eye candy in that store and we know it can be hard to choose between it all, we took care of all the guesswork for you and created a simple, frugal, and cute front porch design!

In fact, I actually created a “base design” using the four items above – a large speckled pumpkin (or you could even buy a real one cheaper which will last all season), a fresh new buffalo check doormat, a straw bale (what could scream fall more than that?!), and black card stock paper.

And it’s only $31.60 for all four!

Now, I know the black cardstock is probably throwing you off, and if you didn’t already know, you can easily create flying bat decor for your front door! All you need is some scissors, black paper or cardstock, tape, and this black bat tutorial (Thanks, HGTV!).

Even better, if you have some already laying around, your fall front porch is going to be even more frugal now! 👏 Just keep in mind, this may hold up best on covered front porches, but will make such a bold & affordable statement either way!

Want to spend a little more?

If you’re looking to add a little more of fall to your front porch makeover, you could also consider spending just $4.80 more for this adorable Acorn Bells Metal Door Hanger! It’ll be a beautiful fall touch and this way you’ll also know every time you have company walking in.

Or splurge on the whole shebang!

I couldn’t believe that this gorgeous twig wreath was under $24 and still available online! Compared to many other wreaths on the market, I felt this one had the most bang for your buck and can go with tons of different home’s aesthetics.

For just $6 more, you can add a pop of color to your fall front porch with this large wood orange basket. It would be perfect for stashing dried corn, smaller decorative gourds & pumpkins, or keep out trick or treat candy on Halloween (if that’s still a thing this year, of course).

That brings your total to just $61.60 for a totally decked out fall front porch!

When you’re done, your fall front porch should look something like this! Thanks, Hobby Lobby! 😍

While I would have loved to add some fun signs and metal buckets like Lina did on her front porch last season, unfortunately, those items sold out super fast online this year! That said, you might still be able to snag similar items in your local store!

Have fun Hip friends, and don’t forget to send us a picture of your decked-out door when you’re all done! 😍

Want a great post! For someone like me who lacks in the visualizing decorations put together, that picture with everything was gold! Also the fact that I would know how much everything cost to get that exact look really put it together for me. Thank you so much!! Would love to see more posts like this – tells me exactly what to buy and how to display it 🙂

My Dollar Tree still had some great fall signs yesterday.

    • Sara

That’s awesome! Thanks for sharing, Lori!

I bought a twig wreath from Hobby Lobby just beautiful on sale. I live in Texas and it has been invaded by moths, every year moths just make their way into my wreaths. Any suggestions as to how to keep twig wreaths from being invaded? Thanks

I heard of spraying them with Listerine. Which if you check mouthwash labels, you can find super cheap mouthwash with the EXACT same ingredients! I am unsure of how often you must do this, but I guess it is worth a try!

  4. Maria

Love the format of this post and that mat is very cute! Just don’t skip the pumpkin patch for fall decor. The wagon rides, fresh pumpkins and apple cider, and great photo ops make supporting small business easy!

Love this post! I also saw the cutest wreath stuff at the Target bullseye spot yesterday. Gold metal hoop wreaths with a leather hanger ($5) and lots of fall artificial flowers ($3 a grouping).

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

Yay! I saw those this morning as well!

  7. Breanna

I grabbed a pack of either 50 or 100 I don’t quite remember but it was black bat card stock shapes already cut and prefolded for $3 in the Target dollar spot! You could use them in so many places! 🎃🍁 And Hobby Lobby is the best! I’m on my way there now 🧡 Such beautiful front porch ideas!

    • Sara

Thanks for the tip, Breanna! I hope you scored some great stuff!
