My Hobby Lobby said they dont carry Halloween for religious reasons. Are they not all owned by the same person. You guys have Halloween in YOuR Hobby Lobby???

    • Sara (Hip Sidekick)

Hey, Laryn! Hobby Lobby does carry “Halloween-like” items, but nothing witchy, scary, etc. due to religious reasons. I have deleted Halloween entirely from our post so we don’t cause any confusion. Thank you for bringing it to our attention.

      • Laryn

Thanks for the info. Was ready to travel out of state for a different Hobby Lobby. Lol.

    • Eizabeth M.

Not in any of the locations I’ve ever been in near me (Atlanta GA area). As the post indicates, they have Fall items (pumpkins included) but not “Halloween”.

  2. Materof6

I’ve noticed that Christmas items are being marked down earlier each year. Our Hobby Lobby here in East TN has Christmas 50% off already for the past month or so.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Oh wow! Thanks for the heads up on what you’re seeing at your store already! ๐Ÿ™Œโค๏ธ

  3. Blanca

What happened to the 50% off sale on SEWOLOGY items. It disappeared

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Hey Blanca! I do find 40% off select sewing items in their store ad. Hoping that is helpful! ๐Ÿ’ž๐Ÿค—

    • Anne

I haven’t seen thread or notions on sale in months. It’s such a bummer – that sale used to make their notions so affordable! That was really what kept me going to Hobby Lobby, so I guess I’ll be shopping elsewhere! I’ve seen ribbon and Fiskars scissors on sale, but not the Sewology. For what it’s worth, I’ve switched to Connecting Threads for my quilting thread and I love it.

    • Amy

I was wondering the same thing. So disappointing.

  4. Denise

Does anyone know how often home fragrance (specifically wax tarts) are on sale? Thx

  5. CMH

I didnโ€™t see any mention of lamp sales. Do you know how often they go on sale? Cant find any info.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Hi there! When checking their site it seems that lamps are included under the home decor section. Therefore you may see those on sale every other week. You can always check with your location or store ad to be sure on their next lamp sale! ๐Ÿฅฐ๐Ÿค—

  6. Jen

Hello! I didn’t see, or maybe overlooked, information regarding paper crafts. They used to have Tim Holtz and Sizzix on sale every other week @ 40% off. I have been watching their add for 4 weeks and neither have been on sale. I have also been in their stores and they have not been on sale. They are not discontinuing the product as they have all the new releases, their prices are the same as on line and at other retailers. Are they not having sales on the Tim Holtz and Sizzix products and more? I also did not see sales on any of the stamping supplies either.

    • Claudette (Hip Sidekick)

Hey Jen! The store ad does offer 40% off paper crafts this week. Hoping that is helpful! ๐Ÿ’•

      • Maggie Parsons

The only paper craft they have had on sale is their own stuff. I used to shop there specifically for Tim Holtz and Sizzix products. Looks like I won’t be shopping there any longer.

        • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks so much for the helpful response, Maggie. ๐Ÿ’–

        • Carrie

Yep. They 40 off for ink, stamps, and Tim Holtz was supposed to be this week. LAST week was Paper Studio stuff and it’s no longer 50% off, but 40 AND, some of those things also took a price hike. Their brand of florals (next to Prima brand) went up as much as a buck! So not only did the base price go up, but do the discount isn’t as much. It’s not going to get much better…

    • Meg

      Hi Jen,
I have noticed the same thing. They do offer 40% off some paper crafts but not any of the die cutting including Spellbinders, Tim Holtz or Sizzix. Theses used to be every other week, but like you I have followed for the past 4 weeks and these have not been offered. Sorry Hobby Lobby, I have lost my interest in shopping there. Check out onlyonelifecreations.com. They offer great discounts. Not as good as 40% off, but they have way more product and a very fair price and the offer of preordering new products at a greater savings.

  7. Linda Etter

Does anyone know what category jigsaw puzzles are in? I know I have seen them on sale but don’t when that is.

    • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

Hey Linda! I clicked through on one on their site, and it looks like it may be under “Crafts & Hobbies” or “Hobbies and Collecting.” Hope this helps! ๐Ÿ’•

      • Linda Etter

Thank you. Now to find out when Hobbies and Collecting” go on sale.

        • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

You’re welcome! You might try calling your nearest location to see if they might be able to give you a time frame for those.

  8. Susan

When did Hobby lobby change their prices on ribbon from 50% off 240% off on a cell week?

  9. Ashlie

Hobby lobby no longer has these items on the rotating schedule: paper/card stock, Tim holt products, stalls and ink pads, sewing notions, stickers (they do still have planner stickers go on sale). Plus the masters touch art supplies and paint which are terrible to begin with are now more expensive then name brand liquitex and instead of being 50% off every other week they are only 40% off. What I have noticed over the years is hobby lobby is the biggest cheater brand I have ever seen!!! They wait for popular people like tim hoktz and other popular crafting companies to come out with new products and once they do they do their best to โ€œcopyโ€ that item (even scrap book paper and things like yarn) then once they have their items on the shelf they pull the better quality item and all thatโ€™s left is their more expensive yet cheaply made item. Itโ€™s pathetic. They only sale their brand paper packs now and only their card stock taking away ur choice to by any other brand and they have jacked up the prices. Same with yard and basically everything else in the store. They took away the 40% off one item daily coupon last year and said they did so because they were going to lower daily prices on all items making it more affordable! What a down right lie but I would expect nothing else but lies from those money hungry bible thumpers. They are the 2nd richest people in Oklahoma worth more then a BILLION dollars yet they continue to raise prices and lower quality and worse of all copy other brands! Terrible place and terrible people!!

  10. Monica

Does anyone know if sequins are ever on sale?

    • Claudette (Hip Sidekick)

Great question, Monica! I checked the weekly ad and they are not this week. Hoping they go on sale soon!๐Ÿคž
