I like the spice organizer idea but then you can’t sprinkle your spices? No sifter tops.

  2. mkean

I like those pretty dish towels. Do you know what brand they are? They look absorbent.

Thanks a bunch for the helpful comment!

  3. Crafty Bargainista

We are in the middle of a kitchen reno (cabinets are being installed right now!) and I literally have 7 out of the 10 of these planned for it! Great minds think alike! 😉

For about 15 years, I organized my spices using IKEA’s magnetic knife holders mounted to the underside of my cabinets. My glass spice jars have metal lids and popped right onto the knife holders. I have so many spices, I used 4 knife holders (2 holders on each side of the stove) and 42 jars. For the reno, we will have a completely different layout, so I decided to go all out and bought these to hide my spices in the cabinet: https://www.amazon.com/Vertical-Spice-222x2x11-Mounted-Capacity/dp/B00F4N0SIC

These spice storage things are genius! They arrived a couple of days ago and they are such good quality! Although they won’t be as convenient as my IKEA knife holder hack, they were the most convenient in-cabinet solution I could find. I can’t wait to use them!

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

How exciting!! Glad to hear you have most of these ideas already planned for your kitchen! Thanks so much for taking the time to comment!

    • Kimberly

Thanks for posting the pull out spice racks!! I’m about to start a kitchen reno and was going to buy a more expensive whole cabinet pullout, so now I have something to think about.

  4. jolysh

$20 for that outlet shelf seems high!

    • JMonte509

I feel the same about the baggie organizer!! I would love to have something similar but I can’t justify spending that much for the one posted

      • Mary

I love the baggie organizer too but it just seems way to expensive for what it is. If the price does drop I will buy it.

    • Sheri Baby

My problem with the baggie holder is I have both storage and freezer baggies of each size in my drawer and that one only holds one type.

      • Cherrill

I scrolled down on the Amazon page and they had other options that weren’t as pricey.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

      Thanks for sharing, Kim!

  5. Materof6

This is truly a great…I will reference it again soon as we are getting ready to move! I have to admit, I started to smile when I saw the spice idea…I had a flash thought if those were placed within reach of a toddler! Lol! Look out! Nevertheless, I love the idea!

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

LOL! I now have that same thought in my head!

  6. Susanne

Should note that the bamboo plastic bag organizer doesn’t ship until mid-March! Hopefully it will surprise us and ship sooner!

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks, Susanne! I did update that. I’m in a kitchen remodel which will be done in March so this was perfect for me! 😍

  7. Gina

I wanted that wooden ziploc bag organizer when we redid our kitchen. Couldn’t stomach the price but found drawer organizers from target for $2 that work well for my needs. They’re the rectangular kind you could put pencils in. I also like that system because I can pull out the organizer for a specific type of bag if I’m filling a bunch of stuff
