I know right. Took my kids kayaking and some lady was in a string bikini. What was she thinking?!?! I’m guessing she isn’t the type to wear masks lol. The mask would have covered more than the entire swim suit.

Ahh man. Finding a pair of fitting board shorts is a nightmare. I have a small waist but huge hips. I don’t mind Bermuda length but everything in women’s seems to be bum cheek-showing length. Might have to try theses. Thanks for posting

I was just as surprised as you Abby! I think they’re great for activities surrounding water sports as attire that has full coverage and are comfortable to swim in. Even just lounging poolside for additional sun protection. I actually love them just as lightweight workout leggings too!
Love swim leggings and scuba pants in my deep water class when the pool is cold I have to kep my core, hands and feet warm due to medical issues.
I discovered swim skirts two summers ago and there is no going back!

I don’t know about this particular swim skirt but I have one from Lands End that I love. It’s all sewn together. So, I can’t take it off go swim.
swim leggings are awesome not only for modesty but also for sun protection. No more burned bum cheeks and knees. I love mine.
This is what I wear and I feel more comfortable versus wearing pretty much underwear.

Any girls deals? When we were at the beach this summer, my 7 year old’s little bum got so burnt everyday, even with my reapplying straight to her butt multiple times. I tried looking in multiple beach stores for a pair of board shorts or a skirt for a girl, and there was NOTHING! They make two piece suits that have the little teeny tiny shorts, but those are just like underwear and barely cover and extra skin on the bottom/under her butt. I couldn’t believe I couldn’t find even one pair of board shorts or a longer skirt for girls at that many beachwear stores.

If Colin and team wanted to do a related post, I would LOVE to be able to find a bikini swim bottom that has full rear coverage and doesn’t ride up!! Everything I’ve tried seems to be either very “cheeky” or similar to the above options which are fine, just not what I’m looking for.

Agree… I own 2 pairs and love them. My family swims almost every day of the week in the summer and swim leggings from Lands End or Amazon really help protect me and my daughters from too much sun.

My daughter just wears a pair of yoga/stretchy pants (not cotton)over her swimsuit.
Though not rated for sun protection, on the day we all got burned, she only sunburned her hands and feet. The only parts exposed since she was fully dressed with a long sleeve sun shirt and the pants.
I have lucked out this year, the few pools that are open are impossible to get on the reservation list. So we have been playing _in the river and sprinklers. No real suit needed!! An old tshirt & sports shorts. But the leggings, might grab a pair of thoes!!
