I first got this while on vacation with my 4 youngest kiddos. I was working during the vaca, so I needed a way to get supplies to the VRBO while I was working. Walmart+ has changed the way you get deliveries. On many items they only give you the choice of pick up in store or deliver from store. You cannot get the items shipped. Our local store has cancelled orders, delivered after midnight, or just didn’t send the orders out. I ordered items to be sent to my cousin in another state and the order was “delayed” and never delivered ( a week late it still says delayed). None of these orders were grocery items. I wish they would go back to regular delivery from warehouses or stores. Every order now has me calling customer service. The store near my cousin, NEVER answers the phone, even when picking up orders.

I had ordered an airfryer to be delivered to me around christmas. It told me none were available in store so i had to do delivery. Ok no big deal, since its a gift. Next thing it tells me after i ordered was that it would be delivered to me the next day by door dash. I found that strange since it said pickup was not avail near me. Along comes tmrw…9:15pm it says “on its way”. I was watching the map bc we have a quarter mile driveway from the road and i was afraid they would leave it at the end of the driveway. I see driver stopped houses upon houses away, so i call assuming doordash was lost. Next thing i see my package was delivered with a picture. It was on the stoop of a house about 10 houses away. My house number is 202. It was left at 179. I know bc the house number was in the picture. 🤦🏼♀️. Walmart refunded me bc the “friendly neighbor” denied receiving it. I cancelled my Walmart+. That was the first and last time i order from Walmart for a doordash delivery. 🙄 Sorry so long winded…

I don’t like that Walmart+ will not ship my items. I ordered some items to be shipped, and they changed it to delivery. Well, I was unavailable when the delivery guy tried to deliver it (I live in a gated community). I had to call to get a refund. I felt bad because I know the driver had to be frustrated.
I ordered some airpod pros last week and doordash delivered it to a completely different subdivision. I almost think they delivered it to their own house. Walmart did refund me, though.
This is a great perk, but if you already have Paramount Plus, keep in mind that only the Essential plan (which includes commercials) is free. I’m not sure if you can upgrade. Does anyone know? It says you have to cancel your current plan to enroll, and I have the premium plan without commercials.

Yes, that is what I mentioned in my comment, but I was wondering if you can upgrade it. The Essential plan is $4.99 and the Premium plan is $9.99, so it would be better for me if Walmart paid $4.99 toward the price of the Premium plan, saving me $5, and then I would just pay the difference to upgrade it.

If a person will be able to watch “1883” it has to the the Premium Paramount+ because you can’t watch all of “1883” on the essential Paramount+. I found this out after signing up for the essential plan. Also, I have family members that work for Walmart and they get Walmart+ for free and the communications they’ve been getting is that it’s the premium plan. Hope this helps.

walmart is getting more and more enticing…they are ironing out their kinks with being new…i still like that they don’t price gouge like amazon does. it helps with knowing the true cost of things!
I keep trying to “create a Paramount account” after I click on the “Get Paramount” button on the Walmart website, but it keeps saying “Email already in use. Sign in instead.” I do not have a current paramount account. ANyone have any insight into what is going wrong??

I’ve been using Walmart for a few months. Love that they can deliver next day cause I hate going to their store, even for pickup. Easy return process except when they decide actual return is not required. I don’t want to visit the store and wait in line for a refund. They delivered, they cam pick up. But……they want me to keep, donate or throw away. Not gonna keep it, that is why I processed for return. Don’t want to keep it laying around to give away. Don’t want to add to the landfill. Geez, you delivered, you pick up!

Where I live, if you don’t tip-they won’t deliver. I ordered an item for delivery, the store changed it to “shipping”. Since there was no longer a tip attached, the store they sent the order to cancelled it because no one would pick it up. Also, the people who deliver for Walmart are NOT the people who shop the order (atleast where I live). You may want to edit your tip list.

Thanks for posting. I don’t shop there often because I hate their pickup times being so restrictive but I work hella long hours during tax season and pickup saves me a ton of time. I usually use target but they are the smaller ones near me so not really any produce and limited food selection. This will be nice for the upcoming winter…..who knows maybe I will cancel my Prime? (Ok I’m wishful thinking but I can dream…)
