This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Mission Foods. All opinions are 100% mine.

Remember the post from last week called “How do You Pack a Hip Lunch?” Many of you that left one of the 300+ comments suggested using tortillas as an alternative to the standard PB& J sandwich. Like you, I love the fact that tortillas take the predictability out of an everyday sandwich for kids AND enable you to create sandwiches of any shape or size with cookie cutters. Plus, they are budget-friendly, contain 0 grams Trans fat per serving and are cholesterol free, and are perfect for every meal: breakfast, lunch or dinner! Check out some of the ways that Hip2Save readers suggested to use tortillas…

* Buy roast chicken from Costco and make sandwiches on a whole wheat flour tortilla.

* Tortillas with veggie cream cheese spread, turkey, shredded cheese, shredded lettuce, and shredded carrots. Wrap them in saran wrap to keep it held together…they actually get better in the fridge with time, so make up a lot and keep them refrigerated for 2-3 days.

* Make a breakfast burrito: Scramble 2 egg whites & slice or two of turkey bacon with some shredded cheese that gets rolled in a wheat tortilla. Wrap it in alum. foil, then stick it in a warmed thermos.

* My daughter’s fave lunch is a tortilla with a small amount of 1000 island covered with grated cheese, spinach, and lunchmeat turkey.

* Make a pizzadillas…Use any kind of tortilla/wrap, turkey pepperoni, mozzarella cheese, small chopped veggies (i.e. green pepper and mushroom) and toast up like a normal quesadilla. Then send tomato sauce for dipping!

After reading all of the great lunch ideas, I had to share one of my all-time favorite recipes: Fruit Salsa with Cinnamon Tortillas Chips which I discovered on AllRecipes.com. (I shared this same recipe on Hip2Save back in May when I highlighted some of my favorite salsa recipes; if you had a chance to try it out, let us know what you thought!) With all the fresh fruit available, this is the perfect time to make this delicious and healthy dish!

Ingredients
* 2 kiwis, peeled and diced
* 2 Golden Delicious apples – peeled, cored and diced
* 8 ounces raspberries
* 1 pound strawberries
* 2 tablespoons white sugar
* 1 tablespoon brown sugar
* 3 tablespoons fruit preserves, any flavor
* 10 (10 inch) Mission flour tortillas (Be sure to use the $0.75/1 coupon from the 8/1 SS)
* butter flavored cooking spray
* 2 cups cinnamon sugar

Directions
* In a large bowl, thoroughly mix kiwis, Golden Delicious apples, raspberries, strawberries, white sugar, brown sugar and fruit preserves. Cover and chill in the refrigerator at least 15 minutes.

* Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

* Coat one side of each flour tortilla with butter flavored cooking spray. Cut into wedges and arrange in a single layer on a large baking sheet. Sprinkle wedges with desired amount of cinnamon sugar. Spray again with cooking spray.

* Bake in the preheated oven 8 to 10 minutes. Repeat with any remaining tortilla wedges. Allow to cool approximately 15 minutes. Serve with chilled fruit mixture.

I don’t think these comments have to be taken out of context. You can like something but not like changes that have taken place. I agree and disagree with teh negative comments. People should be able to take constructive feedback as well as give constructive feedback without being defensive.

My my my…some of you are soooo nice! Sorry miss rosebud, but I’ll speak my mind to you: as the great Jim Carey said, “YOU ARE ONE PATHETIC LOSER”. (So sorry Collin, I know you ask people to play nice in the posts, but I just had to let that one slip!!)
First: awesome post about the use of tortillas. Whiners seem to not realize you gave them FREE RECIPES.
Second: I wish I knew rosebud’s boss, I’d happily tell him she doesn’t believe in paychecks.
Third: why is it sooooo wrong to have sponsored posts, ads, i.e. on a blog when whats the diff when you shop at a store’s website????? Geez.
Last: rosebud and anyone else who wants to complain about how the blog is, don’t let the keyboard hit you on the way out…ITS COLLINS PERSONAL BLOG AND SHE CAN DO WHAT SHE WANTS WITH IT!!

    • Mrs.Hall

I’m no doctor, but I’m pretty sure this Rosebud character suffers from Advanced Delusionary Schizophrenia with involuntary narcissistic rage.

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I totally agree!!! Wow it sounds like rosebud also suffers from a bit of ignorance. Thank you collin for all you do your awesome!!!!

    • Anon

footballchic, the way you talk makes you sound like a loser.

      • sharon

again with the anonoymous. maybe you should look in the mirror, I think that you will not like what is looking back at you.

  3. Amber

Collin you do an absolutly awesome job with your blog, screw those nay sayers. I really must tell you how you’ve saved me and my family. I had just had two babys within two years (not intendidly) and my husband lost his job when my youngest was a month old. We were in the worst spot ever absolutly no income. We were screwed, to put it lightly. I began looking for anyway possible to save money or get items free if possible. I found your blog and its been a daily thing for me since I was able to get free formula and millions of coupons. If it wasnt for your blog I dont know where me and my family would be today. Thank you for everything you do Collin!

  4. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

If you negative people hate this site so much, then please leave. That means more freebies, coupons and give-aways for the rest of us that love Collin and love Hip2save!

  5. josie

holy moly! poor collin. . . . while i think if you’re going to blog, it’s good to be open to some constructive criticism, i think it’s in poor taste to attack a single post, anonymously in a public forum. if you’re looking for a completely ad-free, endorsement free place to get coupon match ups you can pay $65 a year for the grocery game and that’s just for ONE store. if you want your local grocery store plus the drug stores it’ll be at LEAST $160 a year. i’m not knocking the grocery game, i’m just saying with as much work as collin puts in (if you hadn’t noticed, she posts deal all hours of the day and night) i think it’s fair for her to get paid. in fact, i bet if you broke down what she makes at an hourly rate she’s not getting paid nearly enough.

and for the record, it’s rare, rare, rare that i find a deal or coupon here that isn’t legit. in the year and a half i’ve been reading, i can only remember 2 fraudulant coupons posted that collin quickly caught and apologized all over the place for. i honestly don’t see how the content has changed, other than that collin is posting more and a broader range of deals. so, collin, if you’re reading this. . . we love you! i teach coupon classes and recommend your site specifically in addition to a few local coupon bloggers. i think this rosebud character might be some lesser blogger who is jealous of your success and your pretty website. and maybe the lemons, too. 🙂 hang in there.

  6. ilvbakin

    Hi Colin,
My sister told me about your website several months ago. We were both unemployed at that time and started couponing together. You are our favorite couponing site. We love to follow you on your videos and check in on all of your daily deals! I am really upset to read all of these hateful messages. I just wanted you to know that we absolutely adore you and appreciate all of your hard work. I hope that you are richly rewarded for all of your hard work. I wonder if you have any idea how many lives you have touched! How awesome is that. You can’t put a price on that Colin!
We always recommend your website at every opportunity. LOVE IT!
    Patty

ROSEBUD should be banned from this blog!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    • Jennifer

I AGREE!! Ban Rosebud, Ban Rosebud!!

    • Anon

I thought this was America, a free country Are we going to only allow the speech that we agree on?????????

      • Anon

If this kind of thing can happen on a simple coupon blog, you can only imagine how countries start prohibiting what people can say and do.

        • ehayes

          Thats quite a stretch.

I threw a challenge out to you above as a reply under one of your posts. If you are truly a loyal follower I wanted to be sure to direct your attention to it in case you do not reread replies to your post. If you are not up to the challenge or you fail at it, then please leave all of your negativity bottled up inside of you! We all come here because we want to save money and while many of Collins posts are not things I would partake in, so many are and I would NEVER hold it against her if she posts links, ads etc….. that she receives money from in exchange for asking us to look at it if we wish. You are free to ignore anything you do not like, feel is against your ideals etc…. But when you come on here making negative character attacks and bringing a lot of negativity to those who are also coming here, then you are most unwelcome.

  9. Debi

Thank you for sharing your insights/research with all of us. God has blessed you with a gift that you are using to help others make better choices. If I take away just one thing from your website that saves my family some money, than it’s well worth it. There are days I only find one or two posts that relate to me but every little bit helps. So, thank you and always remember why you started this blog in the first place.

    • Latasha

And we’ve been blessed with COLLIN!

  10. jennie

Yum! I wanna try that fruit salsa asap! my kids will go crazy for it! Thanks for posting it, its fun to see a mixture of posts, keep up the great work!

  11. Kristen

Thanks for the new lunch ideas. I make my son’s lunch everyday, so I’m always looking for something new. I started using a Laptop Lunchbox last year and love it – the little Tortilla roll ups would be perfect for that.

  12. Dawn

A deal is only a deal if Collin benefits from it…

    • Jennifer

ummm whaaaat??? collin posts deals all the time that she does not even do herself. she posts a wide variety of things! Get a Life and go to another site!

    • Amy

You need to get your facts straight Dawn! That is absolutely so UNTRUE! Collin and many other bloggers including myself post maybe 1 out of 20 post a day that has NO benefit what-so-ever to us. We post them b/c we are wanting to bring a great deal to readers. Until you spend 100+ hours a week doing this for next to nothing…then you can leave a comment like that!

      Amy

    • laura

I’m sorry, but I don’t get this comment AT ALL. Sure, Collin benefits from some of the deals she posts. It’s HER SITE!! but do you honestly think she gets some sort of kick back from every company she posts a deal for?? I know she posts sale and coupon matchups every single Saturday/ Sunday for Walgreens, RiteAid, CVS, Target, and sometimes Walmart. Do you think they pay her to do that? I really don’t get all the negativity. If you don’t like it, don’t look at it. Either scroll past it (I scroll past stuff all the time) or find another website. Grown up, people!! It honestly sound like you’re in high school!

    • dawn

and I bet you never benefit from any work you do either right? Seriously!

      • robyn

actually as a stay at home mom, i BARELY get any “benefits” from all the work i do!

    • Jess

I have to agree. It seems like more and more posts are leaning towards websites where there is some kind of referral bonus. I miss the good old days!

      • footballchic73

        I’ll give you a referral…..GET LOST

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

        Me too.

    • Laura

I wish I could write a funny blog that people find valuable and get paid for it too!! Way to go Collin, you run a great site!

      • Elizabeth M.

        Amen Laura!

    • Kelly M

Maybe you should get off her site if you feel so negatively about her deals. Find your own deals or try to do what she does and see where it takes you!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I’ve seen Collin post a few deals about Meijer, when she has said before she doesn’t have a Meijer anywhere near where she lives!! Get a life Dawn!

      • amber g

Seriously, if this is the biggest issue in your life you are lucky! Don’t care if Colin gets paid to tell me how and when to save money! Do you hear yourself?

  13. jacinda w

    Collin,
Thank you for all the great stuff you post on here. I feel like you are one of the first people that helped me learn how to save. It is just a natural thing to be able to have sponsored posts once you have worked so hard!! It means that companies are seeing how hard you work as well and we also get to reap in some of the rewards–

I mean come on guys, she gives out laptops and multiple giveaways on fridays, and who else that blogs is hosting a contest to be able to have her personally come and shop with you?? People can’t expect Collin to sit on her computer and work all day long and continue to not make any money from it while also taking away from her family. She put in her dues by making this site what it is today, and I am sure even rosebud has secretly benefited from things on here. I do miss the follow me monday videos, but that is also very hard to do everyweek as well, along with the website. Maybe we can submit our videos like some people have before?

I say congrats collin for being so sucessful on being able to have sponsored posts. Thanks for all you do

  14. dawn

I think anyone of you who don’t like having advertisments or posts that Collin might get paid for should find another site. The large majority of us have no problem with this and enjoy what Collin puts on here. Some people aren’t happy unless they can be negative and talk just to hear themselves talk.
Collin, your site is amazing and you have saved so many of my friends and family so much money and brought us so many great ideas. Keep up the good work and ignore the few people who will never be happy no matter what you do! 🙂

    • dawn

Obviously this is NOT the Dawn from post 62 🙂

      • dawn

        Or is it?

        • dawn

the only person who is amused by your posts is you so please stop. I just wish I did not share my name with such a mean hearted person

          • dawn

            Bipolar much?

    • Sharon Rogers

oh no.. the drama keeps going.. this stuff is crazy funny.. I shouldn’t laugh really..

  15. Renny

    Collin,
You have a great blog & I tell everyone w/any interest in coupons about it. I love it. It’s fun & upbeat & I have learned A LOT reading it. I enjoy it, please keep up the good work & I certainly hope you are making money w/all the work you put in! Any of us who visit are free to take what we can use & leave the rest, so to speak.
Btw, I LOVE Mission tortillas, they are my family’s & my favorite. 🙂

    • Anon

      Good luck with your arteries!

  16. MichelleA

Collin… DONT LISTEN TO THE HATERS!!! You are AMAZING, CARING, HELPFUL, FUNNY, and BEAUTIFUL (inside and outside)!!!
SMILE big and hold your head up high and be sooooo proud because you save thousands of people money and WE APPRECIATE YOU, so dont let a few haters ruin your day!!
Remember what an incredible, thoughtful, woman you are and we THANK YOU everyday for helping our families (w/ coupons, deals, endorsement, ALL OF IT!!! 🙂 😀 😉

  17. L

Keep up the great work Collin! We all love you.
love the saying: “if you can’t say anything nice, then don’t say anything at all!” I hope that whoever is being rude to you on here reads this! I agree with it 100%. EVERYONE in today’s world needs to be a little nicer, a little kinder, a little more forgiving, a little more patient, a little more unselfish, a little more calm, a little more…. You get the point! Don’t take it personally. We all live and learn. I hope all who reads your blog will try harder to be better in every way possible and learn from others mistakes! Make it an awesome day!

  18. debra

rosebud needs to send Collin some money if she wants any more of Collins great deals and info!! How dare someone COMPLAIN about something they get for FREE?? If this were easy to do thern we would all be doing it. It’s NOT EASY FOLKS! I for the life of me can’t figure out how Collin does this Being a SAHM of 3 I can tell you SHE DOESN”T SLEEP! Check out some other blogs and you will see real quick how awesome Hip2Save is!! So for all you haters, go somewhere else! (Even though Collin is so darn nice she would still welcome you,) How dare anyone ruin her day!! WE LOVE U COLLIN!!

  19. Karen

Wow, I can’t believe all the negative comments. I actually found this post quite enjoyable and it really made my tummy grumble with hunger. My son is starting Kindergarten next Tuesday and I’ve been wondering what I can put in his lunchbox. This post gave me some great ideas because we use these all the time to make chicken quesadias and he loves them. So I know he’d eat a wrap. Thank you Collin for posting it. I love this site. I visit it a couple of times a day. No, not every post pertains to me, but thankfully there is a title to every post that I can scan and then skip the whole post if I am not interested. I have gotten some great deals and I am very grateful to Collin for all of her hard work. Semper Fi!!

  20. Dominique

Collin, I just want to thank you for your wonderful site! I have only been couponing a few months, but your blog and vids have helped so much! I have recommended you to SOO many people! Your site is easy to understand, easy to navigate and you have the best freebies! I am a SAHM, so I am able to check your site a few times a day which is super exciting! Keep up the good work. You are a huge blessing, if you weren’t you wouldn’t be attacked so much!

  21. RunnerGirl

Thank you for the awesome recipes. I like to share the fun recipes that my child will eat with my friends, and I fully intend on trying out yours. What a great idea to use tortilla wraps instead of sandwiches. And as always…I LOVE mission tortilla coupons whenever they are available!

  22. Mellie

I’m brand new to the site and in a week I’ve already saved nearly $30 in two trips to Target. Thank you so much Collin!!

  23. sara

How ironic it is that every time we go to the mall, to a fast food, best buy, ikea and many other places WE PAY THEM to take their brands home. And I don’t think anybody calls costumer service whining about it.

    • sara

ups I hit submit befor time…….so if a company wants to PAY ME for a change, for taking their products home so be it!!

  24. Irene G.

Maybe Collin should charge a subscription fee. I’d gladly pay. Then she wouldn’t have to deal with sponsors and ads. I have been a subscriber for a year, and the site has changed, all for the better. It’s very obvious that Collin works hard and puts alot of thought and time into this site that for now I enjoy for free. So for that, I say THANK YOU…

  25. Karrie

It’s a great blog, don’t listen to the crap! I have no complaints. You do a great job! Thanks for all you do to help all of us!

  26. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

collin, your awesome at what you do!!! I love your site!!! keep up the great work there are more of us that appreciate what you do then the few idiots that don’t.

  27. Mary

I am totally mystified at the uproar. I barely saw the endorsement when I first saw the Mission Tortilla post…who cares? One little sentence. Someone said it’s irritating to read through “all of the endorsements.” One little sentence is hard to read? Man, you guys need to just calm down a little bit. I’ve saved $100’s on this and other coupon sites, and I really appreciate them, and all the work Collin does to find these deals, plus set up scenarios for us. Please don’t be discouraged Collin, we love you and appreciate you so much!

  28. Jillann

I could not begin to tell you how much money I’ve saved since I started reading this blog over a year ago – I walked out of Target today with $80.00 worth of merchandise for $11.00 and that is one little trip to one store….

Frankly, Collin deserves to be paid for what she does. How much money have you saved, how many free items have you scored – all because of HER hard work. Then you have the nerve to behave as tho she’s done something wrong by allowing sponsered posts? Shame on you. Seriously. Thanks for all you do, Collin 🙂

  29. Annmarie

Collin you do a great job ~ please keep doing what you do.

  30. Pam

Colin, YOUR site has saved my family SO much money and is enabling me to stay home to raise my kiddos instead of working f/t and sending them to daycare. I subscribe to several blogs via RSS but yours is always the one I go to first and foremost because you have the most accurate coupon match-ups with the most money saving senerios! I certainly hope you are getting paid for all of your efforts and for helping so many families in these tough economic times! You have an amazing site with the best deals around!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!

  31. Maria

Speaking for myself, I always wondered how you did this Collin! I am thankful that you ARE SO pro-active by not keeping these deals to yourself. I applaude you at how SMART you are in making this site so clean and easy to follow. I applaude that you have a team of people that help you to make this site what it is! Few of us can do this. If it were easy, EVERYONE would be doing it! But no, it’s not easy, and therefore I applaude you for getting FREE products, and [gasp] for getting paid to do what? A JOB. You are monetizing and doing something that most of wish we had the skills to do this. This is a skill. Just like an accountant knows how to work with numbers, just like a lawyer has the skill of counsel. They make money on these skills and YOU should too. Who cares how you’re paid…you deserve it! This site is the epitome of your hard work, the epitome of refined, legit, and your precious personality! The lemon thing…result of a bunch of mean people….and now part of hip2save’s theme! I hope you cash in on this one BIG Time! I hope that you CAN buy a house one day with Hip2Save earnings! Don’t let this stop you! Go get’em girl!
Hope to see you on TV one day too, maybe for Mission?!
    bwahahahaha!

  32. Happy Momma

Thanks for all you do and for continuing to encourage us and alert us. I truly appreciate all you do. Thanks!

  33. Heather-My Sweet Savings

    Collin,

I am so so sorry! I personally think that you do an awesome job! (((Hugs))) I too, have a blog and a little one. It is definitely a full time job to keep a blog going, but our children are the most precious gift that we have and in the end that is what matters! 🙂 Keep up your good work!

  34. Ticked Off

I rarely post on anything on this website, but browse many times a day and am so thankful for it! However, reading all of these comments has really provoked me tonight…. all of you negative people are worthless…. and I’m sure Colin works harder than any of you ever have in your lives… actually I probably pay for you sit on your a$$ and collect unemployment. I HOPE she can pay her mortgage with a week on this website, because she works her butt off and should be rewarded for that! You negative nancy’s are just jealous that you’re not as smart as she is.. IF YOU DONT LIKE WHAT SHE WRITES, DONT READ IT! Actually, just leave, we won’t miss you at all 🙂 I’m sorry you don’t have better things to do than to degrade someone… get a life losers!!

    • footballchic73

      “LIKE” button 🙂

  35. Sheree'

Colin I love this site, visit daily actually several times daily. THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU DO!

To you complainers, go to another site OR BETTER YET FIND YOUR OWN GOD BLESSIN DEALS! And then you can complain to yourselves when you didn’t figure out the deal correctly.

    • Anonymous

Please don’t use the Lord’s name in vain.

      • ehayes

oh yes u are so righteous

  36. Pam

Wow. I have been visiting this website for a few months and really have enjoyed it. I was so sad to see that someone had written something negative about her Blog. And no just that, but that Collin felt she had to defend herself. All you haters out there, just stay off the D— website! I don’t want to be brought down by some stupid comments. Let the woman make some money! She earns it, believe me! I often wonder how she does it with a house to run full of 3 kids and a husband! Give her credit where credit is due. Collion, I for one amd very proud of you and all that you do. Keep up the good work and I will definetely keep coming to check out your blogs. I have found some really great deals beacuse of you and your hard work. Thank you,.and from one mom to another, at the end of the day, your family is all that really matters. Don’t let negative stuff under your skin. There will always be people who takes easy jabs at you. Their mostly jealous I have found. You are an awesome mom!!! And have created an awesome website!!!

  37. Mollie

For every single person with a negative comment about what COLLIN does on HER site, go get a life. I mean, she is allowed to post whatever she wants on here but the thing is, you don’t have to read it. There are tons of us that will read it, that will support Collin, and will continue to come to this site. She has saved me more money than I can total, and always has a smile on her “internet face”. Go Collin!

  38. robyn

I really don’t understand why people want to complain about a site, you are not being forced to visit Hip 2 Save you are not paying for her services. It is almost like people aren’t happy unless they are making someone else unhappy. If you do not like what she post or doesn’t post you are not obligated to stick around!!! If there is a site that’s better go there to get your coupons, no one will miss you…..I promise! Collin works hard for this site and if she gets anything for it, it’s none of our business. If you are jealous of her start your own site and then you can get the perks. I am sure perks are not worth all the time you will spend working on your site. Some people just don’t have manners anymore………you are not paying for this service that Collin. There are times when you should have listened to you mother……if you don’t have nothing nice to say SAY NOTHING AT ALL!

  39. zimmge

We love you, Collin! I hope you can make TONS of money off your blog so you can get something in return for what you have done for us, your loyal readers. Don’t give this another thought!

  40. KellyJ

U can’t stop people who talk from their butts. Unfortunetly u are bound to smell it. It’s just important to realize for every idiot u have 100 people that love you.
Oh and U really should find a happy medium between blogging and home. U need to have a certain time u just put down the computer and thats that because as much as u love staying home with the kids if u are online working u are not really there if u are wrapped up in work…… Not only that but when you are worked out and putting all your energy on other things its not healthy for you……We will love you no matter what and we will be back…. Good luck and I hope u cheer up soon.

  41. elaine

No complaining here. Just listening to my new FREE MP3 player from Napster! I have Collin to thank for that. Thanks!

    • Frysmo

I too could not belive the comments about the paid endorsement. Who really cares? We all come here on our own free will. After I scanned some of the posts I saw Elaine’s and remembered, wow, I also won a free MP3 player from Napster, and certainly wouldn’t have found that on my own. Thanks Colin for your blog–I have personally told about 10 other ladies and a gentleman about your blog and encouraged them to visit. Keep it up!!!!

  42. Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Collin, You have saved our family so much money! Thank you for all you do. All these negitive comments are nothing but SAD..Couponing is hard work. Its apart time job for me, cutting out coupons and organizing everything. Then the shopping. Most of us take kids and that hard too sometimes. But I wouldnt trade it for the world!I love being home with my kids.Coupons have allowed that!! Thank you for all the hard work you do for all of us!

  43. Jenn

While some may argue that there’s TONS of positive comments on here, so what’s the point in adding another, I still feel that I need to tell you how amazing I think it is that you devote countless hours to creating such a fun, hip, and thoughtful blog. You’re the first website I go to in the mornings while I’m sipping my tea, and you’re the last one I look at in the evenings before bed. Even if I’m having a tough day at work, I’ll sometimes pop onto your blog on one of my breaks; it ALWAYS cheers me up. You’re like my own, personal shopping angel and you’ve inspired me to share my savings with my own friends and family.

I’m sorry to hear that there’ve been some negative comments on here. Literally, though, I read through this entire page of comments, and I think someone as clever as you can figure out that the majority lies with all of us who love you and your site. Thank you SO much for everything that you do, and I hope that tomorrow turns out to be a better day. I’m going to squeeze a lemon for you tonight. 😉

  44. renaer1

I don’t usually post – but wanted to say that this is a great site – if people don’t like it they should just stop looking at it – there is no reason to complain! Thank you Collin for all the time you put into this site.

Collin – I hope that as you read through the rest of these comments (and the others on your post that you wrote in reply to the negative comments) that you will realize that there are MANY people who enjoy, respect, and apprecaite this blog and the work you put into it. It is unfortunate, but our mother’s were right when they told us that we can’t please everyone. For those who were unhappy with whatever “changes” they see (whether preceived or real), move on. If the blog isn’t for you, don’t read it. But why would you take the time out of your day to hurt someone with hurtful words.

Mama also said that if you can’t say something nice, don’t say anything at all. What happened to being appreciative for what is given to you?

Yep, Collin makes money doing her job. Good for her. Keep it up Collin.

I cannot stand rude and disrespectful people. I normally do not comment but truely this gets under my skin. This is Collin’s BLOG and she OWNS it and you are just a reader having the privilage getting to BENEFIT from it. I have visited her Blog at least once a day for 2 years and absolutely love her. So IF you do not appricate what she does then you have NO BUSINESS visiting her BLOG. Plan and simple. I just HOPE she does make money from her Blog because she is believes in what she does and works VERY HARD at it. She is very good at what she does and she has over 500 followers who say so!! Keep up the awesome work Collin and don’t let “the people” get you down. They might not get enough attention at home.

i love mission tortillas because they taste good, but i know they are not good for you….umm still love them though..sigh i should stop feeding them to the kiddos….mission tortillas are filled with fat and they are 8 weight watchers points, versus 1 point for wheat ones that they sell at costco

I just got a chance to get on the computer this evening after a hectic day. Anyway, I am shocked that ANYONE could possibly say ANYTHING negative about Collin or any of these people who dedicate so much time and effort into making our lives better by helping us with deals, recipes, coupons, and a good laugh or two now and then. I absolutely think the Walgreen’s video phone calls were the best to date. They definitely made me laugh. Collin goes out of her way, and always with a smile, to help us. I was taught if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything. Why be negative toward Collin when she has done absolutely nothing wrong? Anyway Collin, please don’t ever stop doing what you’re doing – and please give yourself a break when you feel you need it. I work from home as well and what you said is so very true – you work much harder because it’s always there and you tend to do more than if you “punched in and out,” but the other thing that is true as well – we get to be home with our children, which is a huge blessing in and of itself. Thanks for all your work. Please know it is very appreciated.

i pay 139 dollars a month for my cable bill and it still scrolls advertisements across the guide and on demand channels, that irriates me…but this site is free, and advertisements are how collin gets reimbursed for the hard work she does…for adults to act so unkind is totally disturbing. It is disheartening enough when middle school girls act so hateful, but grownups should know better!!!
