If you are a newbie to Walgreens shopping, make sure to check out my Walgreens Store guide. …And if the coupon jargon below starts to confuse you, take some time to read through the Coupon Newbie section.

Also, as most of you know, Walgreens released a corporate coupon policy a couple months ago… finally! You can view the policy here. Be sure to print a copy and bring it with you when you shop in case any issues should arise. You can also now print Walgreens Instant Value Coupons online here. *NOTE: If you can find the monthly coupon booklet in-store, save your printer ink.

What about this deal? Huggies wipes 2/5$ use 2$ off wags coupon ducat 4$ plus 0.50$ MAN. coupon! FREE:)

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

The infant Care coupon is only for the larger sizes wipes (184 or 216ct.), so it won’t work on this sale. πŸ™

    • Judy

The Huggies wipes on sale are 64 or 72 count. If you mean the $2 wags Q from the infant care book, it is for 184 or 216 count package, so it will not work

  4. Craig

Thanks Collin! Always appreciated for all you and the crew do! Hope your holidays are going awesome!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks, Craig! I sure appreciate that! πŸ™‚

  5. tammy

    That’s is

  6. Heather

Thank you for very much for these – you are so helpful! Was just wondering where the Breath Right $2 coupon can be found – it states the 0/16 RP. Thanks again!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Oopsie! πŸ˜‰ The 10/16 RP.

    • Snowkatt

      Thanks! That’s a good coupon!

  7. elizabeth

Thanks for the match ups!! Will this deal work?
Buy 2 playtex sippy cups $4.99 each (at my store in va) Buy one get one 50%
    so $7.49 for two
    minus $2/2 infant coupon
    minus 2 $1 coupon from playtex.com
making it $3.49 for two or $1.74 each! Great baby stocking stuffers!!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Awesome deal!! Gonna add this to the post! Thanks! πŸ™‚

      • elizabeth

The playtex coupon also reset!!!! I just printed it again!!! YAY!!!

        • Heather

Plus if you got the diaper genie from the target deal posted way back there is playtex coupons in there for sippy cups as well! YES! Thanks for this deal! πŸ™‚

      • Stephenie

The only problem is the system won’t accept the Infant Care Book coupon for the CARS and Disney Princess cups that are for 12 plus months. The register would not allow it b/c they are not infant products. Let me know if you all have better luck on those cups.

    • Lisa

I had even better coupons – $2 off 1 playtex infant product, and I have two of them! I printed them a while ago so I don’t know if they’re out there anymore or not. Thanks for sharing!!

      • katee

you can get 2 $2/1 coupons for registering at playex.com…they email you the coupon, it takes about 1-3 days to get the email. i read that on another site, and mine took 2 days to come when i registered πŸ™‚

  8. Heather

In order to use my Jingle Cash, is my total to be $30 before any coupons and tax is applied? And do I need to have an item to apply it to, like a mfg coupon would, or is it considered more like a gift card? Thanks!

    • sherri

I was wondering the same thing? Do we have to have a “filler” item to cover the jingle cash?

And is the $30 after you subtract your jingle cash? I guess what I am wondering is if you have $5.00 jingle cash do you have to spend $35 before your jingle cash is able to be redeemed to be able to earn a new jingle cash?

The the only coupons that get deducted from your “pre-jingle cash” total that don’t count are walgreens coupons ( in ad coupons and monthly coupons) and the total has to be $30 pre tax.

      • Heather

My total today was 20.60 after coupons (savings was 31.44) and I got $5 jingle cash! The clerk & I were both shocked…not sure exactly how I got them, but not going to complain πŸ˜‰

      • Camille Brown

Jingle Cash is earned on the amount spent after all applicable discounts (i.e., employee discount, AARP, in-ad coupons) have been deducted Jingle Cash is earned on the amount spent before any manufacturer coupons or register rewards are deducted Jingle Cash is earned on the amount spent before any taxes are added.

    • Lindsey

It must be $30 after all coupons are applied. I actually called corporate to check πŸ™‚

      • Kara

That is not true because I did it 3 times last week and I got my jingle cash on total purchase didn’t matter if I had coupons or not I have 3 5 dollar jingle cash I can use starting today!

    • Heather

Thanks for the feedback guys. I tried it out today where my subtotal was about $31. I had $10 Jingle Cash to spend and $20 in MFG & Wags coupons to use – I like to get my totals to $1 or below πŸ™‚ I handed over my Jingle Cash first – since my total was still over $30 at the time. I then handed over the rest of my coupons and everything went through fine! I didn’t know if it would work if I did my other coupons first since my total then would be under $30 – I didn’t want to take that chance. Also, it showed up on my receipt as $10 of $30 purchase, so it doesn’t look like it attaches to a specific item either.

      • Tina

did you get another jingle cash for $5?

        • Heather

No I didn’t. Some of my regular coupons I used were the WAGS December booklet $1.50 off of Glad bags (I had 3 boxes so it deducted $4.50) – which it seems don’t count when you are trying to earn Jingle Cash.

  9. Jenny

Getting an error message for playtex sippy cup coupon

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Refresh the page and try the link now – it should work.

      • Jenny

        Thanks! Somehow that worked! LOL!

  10. mercilla

Could anybody please give to codes for the sippy cups and Advil infant drops from the Walgreens Infant Care Booklet. My Walgreens is awesome and lets me use the codes without having the coupons! It would my little girls Christmas.

    • Jenny

The bar code on the coupon??

If so Advil infant drops 0000005520
      and the sippy cup is0000005518

If that’s not the codes your looking for let me know.

    • Coupz

      Hi Mercilla, Here you go
      Children’s Advil- 055208 & Playtex -055185. HTH!

      • mercilla

Thanks everyone. This is what I love about the Hip2Save community, always willing to help each other.

        • katee

my walgreens (in new hampshire) just got a new coupon policy and we cant accept “verbal coupons” any more, as in you would have to haver the actual coupon, so im not sure if all are starting to do this but you may want to check…just giving a heads up incase you are planning out transactions πŸ™‚

      • Marissa

wait which code is right? the ones without the 5’s on the end or the ones with the 5’s THANKS!

        • beth

I tried the 055185 Sunday and it would not work…. Going to try the other code Tuesday, I will let you know. The sales girl (she was wonderful) told me that I had too many numbers.

          • Jaclyn

For the coupons to work they need to punch in the 4 numbers. Skip all the 0’s…..Advil infant drops= 5520 & the sippy cup= 5518. Hope this helps!!! πŸ˜‰

  11. Krystal

Any sales on their toys again this week?

    • elizabeth

It looks like the $6.99 toys are BOGO!

  12. Karen

Thanks so much for all you do! I know not everyone that reads and benefits from your hard work says thank you! THANK YOU so much your hard work that has helped so many people!!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Awe… you are most welcome! πŸ™‚

  13. Linda

You are totally amazing, Collin! Thanks for all of these deals! Can’t wait to get hair accessories, pain patches and peeps for free this week!

  14. kouponing karin

Thanks Collin — will all that you do it makes it a pleasure to shop πŸ™‚

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

So glad to hear that! πŸ™‚

  15. jenn

Last week when I shopped, I got a $10 off a purchase of $25 or more, courtesy of fashion bug. did anyone get it also?

    • Kimberly

      Yeah, I got it three times I think? I shop at WAGS a lot . . .

      • jenn

you can’t use it at walgreens right?

        • katee

no you cant, its a coupon for you to use at fashion bug πŸ™‚

  16. Moochy

Does anyone know if the Playtex coupon would work on Drop-Ins refills? Omg that would be such a huge savings >.<

    • Elizabeth

The Walgreens infant coupon says good on all playtex infant items and in the ad they have the drop ins in the picture! I just don’t know how much the drop ins cost. Should be a good deal!

  17. Heather

Does any one know if the enfamil is a good deal? I recently found out we’re expecting so I am going to start stocking up! Thank you!

    • Elizabeth

Don’t take this wrong bc I mean this to be helpful! I am a mother of two with one on the way and my suggestion to you would be to take the money you want to spend on formula and put it in a special place. Bc if you buy the formula now there is a chance that your baby won’t take it or in my case my second baby needed a special formula for his reflux. If you have a ton of a formula you can’t use you will have to give it to someone or donate it bc you can’t return it. I hope this was helpful. Congrats on the pregnancy!!!

      • Heather

I never thought of it that way! Thanks for the second viewpoint! =)

        • Sarah

I agree with Elizabeth. You would probably be better off putting the money aside until the baby comes. You might also consider doing that for diapers. Not every baby can wear certain brands because of skin allergies, the kid constantly leaks, etc. I stocked up on Huggies for my first kid and got lucky that was what he could use. (We ended up with a variety of brands from showers and discovered that Huggies was all we could stand. I can’t stand the smell of Pampers and my husband hates Luvs because they always seemed to leak while my husband was holding my son.) I would recommend requesting whatever samples you can of formula, diapers, etc. that way you have a variety of brands to try if your child has trouble with stuff. (For example, both of my boys started out using Johnson & Johnson baby stuff as infants and BOTH of them now have eczema. So we have used a lot of samples of lotions to figure out what they can use without breaking them out like crazy.)

    • Tamara

I agree with Elizabeth. It took us four different formulas to find one that worked for our daughter last time. She ended up having to have a hypoallergenic formula b/c she had a milk allergy. Put your money aside and wait. You’ll be glad you did!

    • Nicolle

Or for the best deal… Breastfeed your child. My daughter is 2 months and it’s so convient! No bottles to make or carry, no expensive formula to buy! Breastfeeding is best for you and your baby. Decreased risk of heart disease and ovarian and breast cancer for women who have nursed their children. Lessened chance of allergies and SCIDS and other benefits for the baby.

      • kristin

she didn’t ask for all that information. she is probably not planning on breastfeeding, and if she did, i would think she would listen to her doctor before you. just saying… not everyone can or wants to nurse their babies

      • Rebeca

I am with you Nicolle, breastfeeding was an amazing experience for me. The list of benefits for both mom and baby is endless! Also, if you have a good quality breast bump, your partner can help out at feeding times as well as other family members!

        • Amber

The health benefits with breastfeeding are dependent on the mother’s (for example the way she eats)…breastfeeding isn’t always best some babies get better nutrition from the formula!!

          • Lisa

That’s not really true – except in very rare circumstances, even if a mom has a poor diet breastmilk is still the best option – your body will leach all the nutrients it can and put them in the milk. It’s certainly not an ideal scenario, but breastmilk is far and above better than formula – new studies are coming out pretty regularly (from reputable scientific sources) that formula is not great. https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2011/10/111005170730.htm

    • Tiffany P.

I agree that you should put back the money for the formula. I think you could go ahead and get some diapers when there is a good deal. I have not had problems returning those to walmart (but that was several years ago). I also agree that you should try breastfeeding (if you are interested). I breastfeed my daughter for 2 years and it was an extremely rewarding experience for both of us.

      • Bstan1982

I would also suggest to wait on the formula. I bought some of the sensitive pampers for my daughter before she was born just in case she had problems with diapers (luckily she did not). The only problem is that you can’t always get killer deals on pampers sensitive diapers. Good luck new momma!

  18. Tammy F

FYI… I was able to print 2 PEEPS coupons from each of your links..so 4 coupons! Even though its a bricks coupon.

    • Amber

Where did you find the coupon in the second link? I can’t seem to find it.

      • Amber

Ok, I figured it out. I was using firefox and it wasn’t showing up. So I opened IE and voila! Thanks to the comment below lol

  19. Me

I was able to print the Peeps coupons from the facebook page, but I couldn’t find the coupon on their website (the 2nd link). Can someone please tell me how they found it?

    • Amanda

There is a link on the bottom right hand side of the website.

  20. Sky

Can anyone tell me if I can have two items that are qualified for “RR” in the same transaction? Or do I need to break them in two transactions in order to have both “RR”s printed out? Thanks so much!

    • Gentle

If the two items that qualify for the RR are two different items then you should get the RR printed for both. But, if it’s the same item, only one will print so you would need to do two different transactions.

      • Sky

Thanks Gentle. I have my eye on two different items. So I am glad to know that I can do just one transaction. I always worry about annoying the cashier or holding up the line when I do more than two transactions. Thanks for the helpful info!

        • Gentle

πŸ™‚ You’re welcome. I know how you feel. Fortunately, I’ve gotten to know most of the cashier’s at my Walgreens and so I know which ones I can do multiple transactions with and which ones to avoid.

  21. Denise

So you can use a in add coupon and a coupon out of there monthly coupon book for the same item and is there any certain way of handing them over, in add coupon 1st then the one out of the monthly coupon book?

  22. Ronesha

Can anyone tell me where I can get a walgreens Infant Care Booklet?

    • Merideth

      Ebay!

    • melissa

i found my infant care booklet by asking a pharmacist. They had it in the pharmacy.

    • kristin

it is only good until the end of the month!! hurry!!

    • Jill

I have some extra booklet I will be glad to send you one. Email me @ jillmeha@mepotelco.net and we can work it out. Maybe send me a stamp. My twins are now out of diapers Ya and sippy cups Ya. So I don’t need all the coupons.

  23. mothaof6

those playtex sippy cups are the only ones my twins will use whoo i can get some more

  24. Mary McRoach

The Johnson and Johnson’s baby items are BOGO 50% again, add in the December coupon booklet with a manufacturer coupon and cheap baby wash and lotions. πŸ™‚

  25. Pam

W baby wipes are on sale BOGO for 2.49, making each 1.24. On the Green Tea and Cucumber variety, there may be peelies for $1.00 off each one, making them 24 cents each. YMMV on this however, as the peelie actually expired Nov 30th; it does however scan fine, with no beeps. My store accepted them, as they were peelies that were on their own products that were currently on their shelves. (it is a Walgreen’s coupon as well.)

    • Audrey

I was going to post about this too. =) I got four packs of the wipes for .24 each. Awesome!

    • Esther

Thank you for sharing this!!! I was excited to find that my store still had a few packs with the coupons and that the cashier accepted them!
Also, FYI, I only bought 3 (because I wasn’t thinking!) and the deal still worked the same for me (3.74 total- $3 in peelie coupons = .74 for 3 packs!)

  26. leide

Oh My Gosh I can’t find the in-ad coupon for the Mars candy.. I see russell stover… hersheys… I think I am gonna cry! Did we not get it here in Texas or am I missing a page???

    • leide

got it! last page.. tricked me

  27. Liz

I am going to try the Peeps deal, but will it be accepted? Does anyone know what I should tell the cashier to have them accept it? I have given up on items that cost less than the price of the coupon at WAG because they have never worked, but wondering if since the item’s price is the same as the coupon it might work but I am still nervous to try! (: How do you guys make it work? Thanks!

    • Araaidan

Hand over your manufacture coupon first then your Walgreens in-ad coupon second. Workded on the free Easter Peeps for me with no beepage. HTH!

      • Deedee

I did in ad first and then mfr last. No beepage!

  28. Jen

Don’t forget about the $4.00 rebate for the Similac formula!!! And, put your formula checks to good use this way too!!! Every little bit helps!
Similac 23.4 oz $22.99 with in ad coupon
Use the $5/2 coupon found in the 10/23 SS
Plus, use the $2/1 Walgreens coupon found in the Infant Care Coupon Booklet (will deduct $4)
    Final cost $36.98 total – $18.49 each!

    • Janette Sanders

How do you get formula checks? We just had a baby on 12/02/11 and use the similac advance. Does the rebate print when you check out or how do you get it?

      • katee

hi im not sure what the rebate is…maybe try their website, or google search it? but if you sign up with similac.com, have you and someone you live with both sign up so you get double the coupons(!). but the send you sample cans and checks every few weeks/months for $3-$15 dollars off a single similac purchase over the price of the check! gerber and enfamil do the same πŸ™‚

        • katee

…the checks are $3-$15 dollars off(from what i’ve gotten…the cans are free** typo sorry!

  29. Coryann

Hi guys I wanted to go and pick up the Halls cough drops but my coupon in the SS was for Ludens $1 of two will this coupon work or did I get the wrong coupon. Thanks so much:)

  30. Tina

I know that the jingle cash is awarded minus all Walgreens coupons but before manufacturer coupons are counted. I have a $10 Jingle Cash to use this week. If I want to earn another Jingle Cash this week, I am guessing it would be minus that jingle cash. For example,
if I spent $50 before manufacturer coupons are counted, I would get $10 jingle cash back. Since the jingle is counted as a store Q, I am guessing I would need to spend $60 bucks to cover that “$10 “store” Q assuming that the jingle is treated like a store Q.

Also, if it’s treated as a store Q, I am guessing that it does not need to attach itself to an item.

    • Kien

      You are absolutely correct!

  31. Lanie

@ Araaidan “no beepage” haha! love it!!!

  32. Kristin Robinson

I live in Maine and the only Mars Coupon we got says save $1 on 2 Mars Holiday products but below that in the green print it says that it says to be a 7.04oz to 19.5oz bags did everyone get this coupon and just miss this wording or was the other coupon just regional Thanks

    • Jaime

Mine also says the same, and I live in Missouri.

  33. Carol_R

Thanks Collin for the match-ups. You do an amazing job & it’s really appreciated.

  34. jane haskell

My local Walgreens now takes the coupons from the infant care booklet. Does any others do this. The last time I used my advil coupon they took it.
Manager said it was company policy now.
    Jane

    • Mandy McKinley

That happened to me with the Huggies wipes refills a couple weeks ago. The cashier cut the coupon out of my Infant Care book. I didn’t make a big deal since they expire at the end of December. Just irritating.

    • Esther

They’ve been taking all mine also for the last month or so although I did ask about them accepting just the code and they did accept that once (I’ve only tried it the one time).

      • katee

i work at wags and we dont have to keep them, i dont see why any store would, they are walgreens coupons therefore they just get thrown away at the end of the day, or at the end of the transaction. they do not need to be kept like manufacturer coupons. im not sure why a store would keep them!

  35. Savvy

I tried using the coupon from the infant care booklet and it beeped, the manager was there so they entered it manually, also, the advil+thermacare $5 coupon beeped πŸ™ they manually entered in and the Mars holiday candy from the December coupon booklet beeped too πŸ™ Did anyone else have this problem?

    • Tammy

buy 2 Mars M&M’s Novelty Candies .7 to 2 oz. $0.59 with in ad coupon
Use the $1/2 Walgreens coupon found in the December coupon booklet
      Final cost only $0.09 each!

Does anyone know what coupon from the ad and the December book are being used and what product is being purchased? I tried to purchase the m&m’s and the coupon beeped and was not allowed.

      • Soua

I got (24) holiday M&Ms, used the in-ad coupon on the back page and when I handed the cashier the December booklet to scan on page 10, it beeped and he said it was because the December booklet Q is only for the toy (that is in the booklet) only. It makes sense to me but I’m not too sure ;(

        • andrea delaney

The same thing happened to me with the M&M coupon. My Wags had the Peanut M&M’s on Clearance already for $.38 so I figured I’d get some free. It beeped and the cashier told me no. First she said it was because the value of the coupon was greater than the cost of the items. Then she said it was only for the M&M’s pictured. I gave up because she wouldn’t budge.

  36. Heather

FYI – when I did the Maalox deal and bought 4, the catalina machine printed off (2) $1.00 any Maalox Advanced products! Not quite as cheap as the $0.49 deal with the Internet coupon, but $0.99 each isn’t bad either!

  37. Stacey

I printed the Advil/Thermacare $5 and it beeped and they wouldn’t push it through. Anyone else have this trouble? I was disappointed because I wanted 2 Thermacare for pain as I cannot take ibuprofen.

  38. Christi

I had the same problem as you with the Advil/Thermacare $5 coupon. I wonder what the problem is?

  39. Marcia

Both peeps coupons are out… enjoy the 4 free you get!

  40. Christie

Question…I tried to return a lip gloss I bought a few weeks ago and the manager told me I would not get any money back because it had a RR that made it free when I bought it. However, she said she would allow me to use the credit toward purchasing another item. Has anyone else had this happen?

    • katee

she is right. i work at wags. in the coupon policy we have it says, under the register reward section, that if you return an item that had a register reward you either need to forfeit the register reward or you will be given back the price you paid minus the register reward price. so whereas this was free you wouldnt have gotten any money back for it at all. but say if it was $5 with a $3 RR, and you returned it without giving back the RR, you would be credited $2. HTH!

  41. Ebony

I noticed that the Brainstrong daily Vitamins for Toddlers is on clearance for $6.89. There is a $5.00 0ff 1 coupn in the Walgreens December coupon booklet.

    • ali

There is also a $3/1 Q in the Vitamins and Supplements booklets found in the aisle right along with these Brainstrong toddler DHA packets, and I used them together and it worked fine with no beeps. Yay for overage!

      • Gabi

The $3/1 Q is only in the Vit & Sup booklets with $75 worth of Q not in the $65 booklet.

  42. Alicia

peeps coupons are all gone. at both sites. πŸ™

  43. Amanda

Mars or Dove candy 1.1-2.17 oz $0.59 with in ad coupon
Use the $1/2 Mars Holiday product coupon found in the 12/4 RP
(You could purchase the Snickers Nutcrackers, as they are a Mars Holiday product)
    Final cost only $0.09 each!

Or buy 2 Mars M&M’s Novelty Candies .7 to 2 oz. $0.59 with in ad coupon
Use the $1/2 Walgreens coupon found in the December coupon booklet
    Final cost only $0.09 each!
    * Great Stocking Stuffers!

Tried this Sunday morning @ my walgreens in West Jordan, Ut and the cashier wouldn’t allow it. Stated that the Holiday Product meant the ones with plastic parts on them and mars candies had to be the mini ones in the bag. But she did allow me to buy 2 sets of hairclips for 2 $2 register rewards.

    • Ronni

I was wondering about this coupon….it also has a size restriction of 7.94 oz – 19.5 oz….so I wasn’t sure if it would be okay to use.

    • Jennifer

I tried this as well…and it was a no go. My issue was with the December Coupon Book and the in-ad. The in-ad was for the cheap bagged M&Ms (and other Mars candy). The Dec Coupon Book was for the plastic Holiday candies.

I didn’t even try to use the coupon from the 12/4 RP.

      Anyone have any luck?

  44. Sheila

    Oral-B Professional Care rechargeable toothbrush 1000 $39.99
Use the $10/1 coupon found in the 12/11 RP
    Final cost $29.99!

I think this was supposed to be Sonicare. If so, then there is a Walgreens Coupon in the December book for another $10 off (not sure if this would work)- making this $19.99.

  45. ???

I just bought those goody clips and pins last week at $1.00 a pkg regular price and hair bands. I got ten of them for donations, again a price hike to look like a a sale? I guess its worth a RR this week, but still I paid $1.

    • Christi

Where did you buy the goody clips and pins at for $1 regular price?

  46. christina

Collin, if you use the $3.00/2 expiration 12/31/11 duracell coupon from the thanksgiving day paper (It was a duracell flyer with the coupon, not in any coupon book) makes a great price on the batteries with the $5RR. $17.98-$3=$14.98-$5RR=$9.98 for 32AA. If you bought renu already or the deal at rite aid with the travel box with contact container..they where a $1, there was $2coupon in mine so would make the renu free , in the 12oz there was $1 would make .99cents :), I always check inside my products, there seems to be so many putting coupons in it. Like the noxzema razors had $2 off the spa kind, I was able to score free on this past sale, made for nice donations.

Tried both links for the peeps coupon and it’s no longer available.

Looks like the Thermacare Q’s are gone as well. It told me I reached my print limit, but I didn’t print any Q’s. πŸ™ Bummed.
