I don’t think most hospitals will allow for fresh flowers in a patient’s room post heart surgery. At least that was the case for my father, father-in-law, and uncle in 3 different hospitals in the same town. I would at least double-check with the hospital before ordering.
Def ck. When my dad had surgery he couldn’t have flowers or balloons in recovery. But when he was moved to a regular room before being discharged, he could receive flowers.

I’m a nurse – while the gesture is VERY sweet of you.. they likely won’t be allowed or the scent will be bothersome. Anything that is not a neutral smell is not a good idea post surgery because of possible breathing issues, among other things. While you wouldn’t think it would be a big deal (I used to be one of those people!), when they are confined to such a small room – the smell is VERY potent. I would send something like a self-made or self bought gift basket of various items.. Hospital food isn’t often the best. :/

yes you can, but not too far in advance. You choose a shipping date before doing anything else so if the date you want can’t be chosen you lose nothing – not even your personal info is needed at that point.
I too wonder if this can be done for a later date.. I can have my hubby send these for me for my bday in oct lol
I only see the option for the 5th & 6th for delivery – rest are grayed out. The bouquet is specific to this weird holiday so I don’t think there’s a way around it.

So super bummed!!! I just saw this and wanted to order them for my 90 year old gram. She just went into a rehab facility yesterday after getting pneumonia and spending a week in the hospital. She’s had a rough couple of months. Her last sister just passed away 3 weeks ago and she had a terrible fall about 5 weeks ago and needed 13 stitches in her head. I tried to cancel my VISA checkout account right afterward, and the “close account” button was broken. Hitting it did nothing at all, and neither did hitting “enter” after putting in my password on the close account page. Seems kind of fishy to me.
I also tried to remove my credit card from my VISA checkout account, and it wouldn’t delete. No explanation, it just appeared to have worked and then the card was still there. Even when I added a dummy credit card (a valid but low balance gift mastercard) it still wouldn’t let me delete the original. What’s going on here?
Maybe order some for yourself, divide them up and give them to your friends at work or someone who needs a little boost.

What the heck is VisaCheckout please?
HELP! I have $14.99 pending on my CC, but received no confirmation email from 1800flowers. I just spoke to Customer Service and there’s NO RECORD of my order. No order, yet a pending charge?! Did everyone else get confirmation? Why do half of my “hip” deals involve a couple hours of customer service nightmares. I still haven’t recovered from the Crayola fiasco. 🙁
BTW, I placed this order last night. 12 hours ago. It’s NOT in 1800flowers system, but the charge went through.
