Free Walmart Grocery Delivery

Get your groceries delivered from Walmart!

Delivery Unlimited is Walmart’s grocery delivery service that gives customers the option to pay a yearly $98 membership fee or a monthly fee of $12.95 to receive unlimited grocery delivery orders. After testing Delivery Unlimited in four markets earlier this year, Walmart is bringing the service to over 1,400 stores this fall!

Walmart plans to begin the program in all 200 metro areas where Grocery Delivery is available today. By the end of the year, the service will be available in more than 1,600 stores in over 50 percent of the country. AND, customers can try the program with a free 15-day trial or opt to have their groceries delivered for a per-delivery fee.

“Grocery Delivery takes convenience to a new level, and our customers love it. With Delivery Unlimited, we’re providing incredible value for our customers and leveraging our unique assets to save them both time and money,” said Janey Whiteside, chief customer officer, Walmart.

Customers wishing to have their groceries delivered can simply place their orders online at Walmart.com or on the Walmart Grocery app, and they will find that the items are priced the same as they are in stores.

“We’ve been investing in our online grocery business by quickly expanding our Grocery Pickup and Delivery services. Delivery Unlimited is the next step in that journey,” said Tom Ward, senior vice president, digital operations, Walmart U.S. “By pairing our size and scale and these services we’re making Walmart the easiest place to shop. Combine that with the value we can provide, our customers can’t lose.”

Looking for another option?

If this service isn’t available yet in your area or if you would like to avoid the membership and delivery fees, we highly recommend Walmart’s Grocery Pickup service. Grocery Pickup is available in nearly 3,000 stores, and it’s such a great time-saver for busy people!

Grocery Pickup customers can order their groceries online and pick them up from stores without ever getting out of their cars. Best of all, it doesn’t cost any more than it would to go inside the store and do your own shopping. There’s no membership fee, no delivery charge, and no tipping! I can’t find the answer anywhere: do you still have to meet the $30 minimum? I assume so, but it’d be awesome if not!

It is a $30 minimum, celticmommie!

I can’t say I’ll jump on the pay for delivery bandwagon but I do love their pick up option. As a mommy of 6 (the youngest are one month old twins) I cannot express how helpful the drive up has been for me this past month!

Congrats on your newest little additions, Brittney!

How do you know if it’s available in your area? All the links take me to the walmart app 🤔

When I’m using a desktop computer, it takes me to Walmart Grocery Pick up. Delivery is not in my area so far, but once it’s added then it will show me that option as well, Jamie! If you are using a mobile device, try switching to desktop mode.

This is wonderful for the elderly. My Mom cannot shop and carry groceries in the house anymore so we get on the phone and I do her order online and then they are delivered to her. Since I live 500 miles from her this is a real comfort to know she has food in the house.

I would love to use it for my mom who lives in another state. I am not sure if this is possible as the closest store almost 30 miles away (???)

It’s a nice option to have. I had 3 free deliveries and it was definitely convenient to have them carry it all in for you especially since I recently had knee surgery. It’s important to note these are third party people who deliver so you still have to tip them on top of the fee

Still waiting for the pick up service at my location 🙁
