Try This Tuesday: Lightbox Messages For Your Home Or Office ~ SO FUN!
Note from Collin:
Do you have a product you love? We definitely have many favorite products here on the Hip2Save Team, and thought it would be FUN to share some of them with you! I personally love product recommendations and I’ve also had a few requests from readers, so I have asked each member of the team to think of products they love (cosmetics, kitchen gadgets etc.) and to write up a post that will be shared here every Tuesday. Michelle, my sidekick, is sharing one of her favorites…
Hi there! It’s Michelle, one of the Hip2Save sidekicks!
It’s been about a year since I received this Heidi Swapp Lightbox as a gift and in that year it’s become such a fun part of my home. I smile every time I walk by and see the message I’ve left for my family, and I love when one of my kids has surprised me by changing the message.
This Lightbox has three sections that the letters slide in and out of. The original kit comes with the Lightbox and you can buy letters in different fonts, numbers, phrases, and even icons and emojis to customize your message.
I leave little inspirational messages for my kids, and I turn the light on at night as a nightlight in our downstairs hall.
I use it for parties and holiday decor too, and I always get lots of compliments on it.
We have a tradition in our home that on the last day of school I serve my kids a ridiculous breakfast full of sugary items that I would never allow on a normal day. Last year I gave them each a plate of cookies and I lit up my Lightbox with this fun message. 😃
You can grab one of these Lightboxes at Michaels , plus you can save even more by using a Michaels store coupon (they often have 30% off up to 50% off regular-price item coupons available)! There is a mini version available too, but I like the bigger 13 x 10 version. The extra letters and icons vary in price from $3.99 – $4.99 (just make sure you purchase the size of letters that fits your size of Lightbox!)
I promise you’ll find all sorts of reasons to use it!
Note from Michelle: This is just an honest post that was not sponsored by the manufacturer. I just really love my Lightbox & wanted to share it with you. Enjoy!

This is cute! Were you just able to slide the pumpkin graphic into some kind of sleeve that sits behind the letters??
Hi Jen! The pumpkin comes in three pieces and it just slides into the three slots. I put the letters in right on top of the pumpkin. There are also pumpkin faces available that you can mix and match to create Jack O’ Lanterns!
This looks awesome! But – the lightbox doesn’t appear to come with the letters…have to purchase separately.
Thanks for the heads up! I am seeing that now as well! Updating the post now!
They have a similar one at Macys (Celebrate Shop – My Marquee Large Light Box) which is battery operated, no USB cord tho, and comes with the letters (9 x 12) on sale now. Not sure how it compares but it’s a pretty good deal and eligible for in-store pickup and possibly other discounts.
I got the mini for a great price with the sale and discounts recently (not available online anymore, but may be in store). Its small but magnetic.
Amazon has them for $19.99 with 90 letters. Cute idea!
I got one from ross a few months back. It runs on 2 AA batteries and came with a whole lot of numbers and letters. And it was just 9.99
