Our rv sink is single & small. Is it possible to just lay this on countertop to the right of sink as i don’t have room to store a large dish drainer.

Hi Chris, I bought one for our even sink too. Just got it yesterday, it is a little larger horizontally but vertically it fits well. I really like it, got a little water on the counter. So far, it’s great since it takes up little room. Hope this is helpful!
If you’re just laying it on the counter, why not just use a dish towel?
The plastic ends can be removed. My husband cut the rods down to the size to cover my RV sink and put the end back on. Works great and rolls up neatly for storage.

Finally a dish drying rack that I don’t have to scrub clean or gets smelly!
Tip: I use this rack for a few items I cannot / prefer not to wash in my dishwasher. 90%+ of my dirty dishes go in the dishwasher daily.
I keep this dish rack on my countertop with an IKEA HILDEGUN Dish towel under it. The dishtowel soaks up the water great, stays unbelievably dry and odor free even after a week or two of use. I eventually added the IKEA ORDNING Utensil holder to hold my silicone cooking utensils to dry on top of this dish rack.
I do not use it for plates as it would take up a lot of space on the rack and you cannot make the dishes stand up as in a regular dish rack.
When I’m going to have guests and want my countertop looking tidy, I just roll up the rack, hide it in a cabinet and throw the dish towel in the laundry hamper. Voila!
I will never spend my $$ on another bulky, hard to keep clean plastic dish rack =)

I have a large one that I place over my open top-loader washing machine. It’s great for air drying my wool socks, as well as making extra clothes-folding space, without closing the lid and risking mold.

I love the idea of these but wasn’t thinking it through when I ordered one. I have an apron front farmhouse sink that’s set under my countertops. With the front of my sink sitting about an inch lower than the other three sides (of countertop) it doesn’t work.
HOWEVER, If you’re like me and still love it they make them in triangles for the corner. I love it to hold dishrags/sponges/soap.

This is a truly amazing product. I bought it on a whim after seeing it here before, and I’m going to order a couple more for my family members. I really like how it has the plastic grip to prevent it from sliding, and it also holds dishes in place as you dry them. This is a great way to keep things off the countertops while letting them dry, even if you have a dishwasher!
