“Vibe is one of three mattresses in a box I have in my home and personally have slept on. I did a TON of research into them before purchasing and I was seriously so wow-ed by all the rave reviews. And then wow-ed all over again when I spent my first night on it.
It’s more medium-firm which is exactly what I wanted. It cushions the contours of your body but without feeling like you’re sinking into it. At first, I thought it wasn’t as cooling as it claimed until I realized the microfiber sheets I was using trapped all the heat. I swapped them out for 100% cotton, which was MUCH more comfortable.
Admittedly, it’s not the mattress I sleep on every night since I had gotten a chance to try a new one that I love (Novilla), but it’s been re-assigned to the nicer of my 2 guest bedrooms and receives the same praise anytime a friend or family member spends the night. Best of all, you can’t beat the price!”

I am looking for a 10 inch hybrid for one of my college kids. Any suggestion? I am not looking to spend a lot. I need a twin xl bc of how tall my boys are and it’s hard to find.
We purchased a sleep.number and from the first day we slept on it our backs have been killing us…it doesn’t matter what number its on it’s horrible… We had a temperpedic for years and decided to try the sleep number….I want my temperpedic babk!
We just bought the Casper Hybrid from Costco last weekend for our guest bedroom. We love it so far.

I tried all of the Casper higher end mattress but in the end none worked for us. We loved our pillow top mattress that finally broke down and we could not find a similar mattress. I heard about WINk (east coast company) and we bought their softest mattress which is handmade in the USA, and had tons of the features mentioned above. We love out mattress which we put on an adjustable base. We tried a split king hybrid with casper and did not care for it since regardless of what we did the mattress would separate.
In the end I think it comes to personal choice, we needed support but also something really soft.

I absolutely do not like my sleep number!! Have never had a restful nights sleep on it! That being said , ours is not their top of the line. My sister owns Their most expensive one and she loves it but it was $$$$$$$

I also have owned a sleep number for about 8 years now, and would probably consider it “mid grade.” When we first bought it, we thought we made a big mistake during the first few weeks, since our backs hurt more it seemed like. I honestly think that it was re-aligning our bodies after having a very old, firm mattress prior. Hoping one of these recommendations in the post are what you’re looking for in a mattress! 💕
We love our Zinus! We have a full, 2 queens, and a king and we all talk about how amazing the mattresses are! When we have guests over, they always ask what mattress is in the guest room bc they want the same one. Best thing we ever did. We got ours in 2017 and they are still incredible!

Memory foam mattresses are great in the beginning, but after a year you get an uncomfortable indentation. My best experiences have been with mattresses that don’t come in a box. You have to pay a little more for a mattressfrom a store, but 10 years from a mattress is worth it.

The Zinus mattresses on Amazon are legit! We have bought two in the past and loved them and about to buy a third to replace my King. They are supportive but not too firm, and you don’t feel your partner turn over in the bed near as much as a traditional mattress in my opinion. For the price, you can’t beat ‘em!

I got a Bear hybrid in February and have loved it!
I used to love Zinus until the fiber glass fibers leaked out and ruined everything. I experienced breathing issues, break outs due to glass needles stabbing me and more. Worst part is I live with the prob for a long time without knowing what it was. The fibers can only be seen in the dark when u shine a flashlight on them. Almost look like a spider web. Please check your home and check utube for the stories others have gone through. I have had to toss most of my belongings because the fiber get on everything in your home. Please search for mattresses without fiberglass or get a really good mattress zip cover if u can only afford cheap toxic zinus.
I got a Purple3 this passed week. I did go to the bed store and try different ones before I got this. It felt nothing like the one in the store, but I bought mine straight from Purple. After reading it does need to be broke in and you do get 100 nights free so you can do this. It is already feeling better than it did. I also got the adjustable frame with it & 10 year warranty on both.
