As some of you may know, we moved into a new house last summer. Here are the two types of Epic Water Filters you can use:

- Pure Filter – designed for city water | removes fluoride & heavy metals
Setting up your water dispenser is a cinch!
After you wash all the parts with warm soapy water, you’ll dry them off and put your water filter in place. Then you’ll attach the water spout in place, but make sure it’s on tight and screwed on seamlessly otherwise you may end up with water everywhere as the tank fills up. (Speaking from my own experience.) 😅
The first two tanks of water that filter through your new Epic Water Dispenser should be discarded or better yet, it’s a perfect time to catch up on watering your plant babies. 🙂 This is to remove any loose carbon fines.
Note: In areas known to have high sediment in the course water, it is recommended to let the faucet run for 15-30 seconds to flush pipe sediment.

Do you have a pool/water test kit? Just wondering bc we used that to check the water from our Brita filter… it still has a lot of chlorine, there was barely ANY difference between that and our tap water! So now we’re on the hunt for another water filter. I was curious how this filtered out the chlorine levels

I bought a water bottle to try it just to see if I could taste a difference. We live in the country and I worry about pesticides and fertilizers getting in our water because there is a lot of farm land around us. Plus the water system in our area is older and they’ve been replacing it a little at a time but we still never know when there will be a break in the lines and then the water is dirty. Plus from time to time I can smell the chemicals they use in it. We’ve been drinking only bottled water since we moved here 11yrs ago. But I feel like we are probably getting plastic poisoning from all those bottles. I’m about to order the water filter for our fridge. That way we can have cold water anytime plus we don’t like plain water and like to use drop ins. This way we can use them and all the many insulated bottles we already have. But I don’t have to worry about what’s in our water. Btw, the taste difference between our tap and the bottle was amazing!!! Even the fridge water tasted so much better! Our fridge is old and they don’t even make our filters anymore so it’s basically cold tap water. But epic has a system that will even work on our outdated fridge! Thank you!!!
