TubShroom products are designed to easily catch human and pet hair that may fall in your drain, without disrupting the flow of water. Using this little guy can save you hundreds in potential snake work and plumbing fees.
Use the TubShroom in bathtub shower drains from 1.25 inches to 2 inches wide, or grab the ShowerShroom for standard 4” shower stall drains. Loose hair strands circle around the center tube and are caught before going into your pipes. It still acts like a regular drain, so water flows down as normal.
Cleaning your TubShroom is just as easy as installing it! All you have to do is pull the Shroom up and slide off the collected hair stands in one effortless wipe. Really, it’s just that easy!

Our Hip readers love this hair catcher as much as we do…
I love this as well! I grabbed one a while back when you posted – such a great little invention. We have to clean it almost weekly, which goes to show how much hair was going down (and clogging) our drain weekly! We haven’t had to use Drano since we got this little gem, which is good news for our pipes (and our pocketbooks!).
I wish we had bought it sooner! 4 females in this house, my daughters all have long thick curly hair. Mine is long but thin, however, the amount of hair we used to clean from the drain OMG this thing was a lifesaver!
This is an amazing product!!! In the past, we were cleaning hair out of our drain weekly and using bottles of drain cleaner!! Those drain cleaner bottles really added up. Since purchasing the tub shroom (maybe a year ago), we have had zero clogs. I don’t know how we survived without it.
An absolute must-have, especially for the price and its use. If you have ever had to clean out a tub drain, then you know that it can get pretty nasty. This tiny little device makes life a lot easier. It will catch long hair with no problem at all. I should have gotten this a long time ago. Highly recommend.

This thing is freakin amazing! I got a hair clog stuck in my tub many years ago. Tried to take care of it myself to no avail. Had to call a plumber for $200 or more to clean it out. He suggested that I fill my tub and sinks once a month and then drain them. He also suggested I get a hair catcher (I have long hair and my daughter does too). I bought this. Have not had to call the plumber again! It catches so much hair and other junk. Then the tub starts draining slowly, and you have to empty it. Super easy to do, and saves so much money and hassle.
Yay! I’m so glad to hear how well this has worked and how helpful it has been! 🎉 Thanks a TON for taking the time to share your experience using it in your tub. 🙌💞
Worth Every Penny. Would Definitely Buy again.
SWEET! Thanks for the recommendation! 🙌
I love, love, Tubshrooms and have purchased too many. Unfortunately my golden likes to grab them and eat the rubber gaskets.
Oh no! Sorry to hear that. 😔
Bitter Apple Spray will stop your Golden from grabbing them and eating the rubber gasket. I would suggest trying to spray it after you use the sink/tub so it can dry and stay on the mushroom…it only takes one taste and your golden shouldn’t want to eat the gasket again! (Works with cats too)
