Easy Pumpkin Spice Mug Cake

Pumpkin Sice Cake in a Mug

Want to get your pumpkin fix WITHOUT making an entire cake? Then you’re just 5 ingredients and 90 seconds away from enjoying an impressively delicious tiny cake in a mug. Top it with some whip cream or frosting of choice for the perfect ending to a hectic day. 😊

Pumpkin Spice Mug Cake

*Slightly adapted from The Novice Chef, yields 1 cake

Ingredients:
6 Tbsp. Spice Cake Mix
2 Tbsp. Pumpkin Puree
1 Tbsp. Vegetable Oil
1 Tbsp. Milk
1/4 Tsp. Pumpkin Pie Spice* optional

Directions: Spray mug with nonstick spray. Combine all ingredients in the mug. Microwave for 90 seconds. Top with whipped cream or frosting.

I’ve tried several recipes for mug cake and they don’t always turn out…

This one is a WINNER!

The texture is right on par with a yummy cake, and tastes great. Enjoy!

    Thx so much for this one!! ..My two boys will b able to make this .This will make them feel so special.!! Keep up the good work ,and gr8 recipes. Can you do this with other cake mixes?? Chocolate, or vanilla,..TIA

    I will normally do a vanilla cake like this!
    1/2 cup of cake mix
    1/3 cup of water
    1 Teaspoon of oil
    Mix and microwave for a minute and 30 seconds.
    Sometimes, I’ll add some chocolate chips to it. So delicious! I’ll definitely try the pumpkin. Thanks!

    Wow. So fast and easy. I substituted applesauce for pumpkin puree and added cinnamon. I had to make another double batch for hubby. BTW-double batch cooked for 2.5 minutes.

      I use something similar to a Ramekin. I think it would be just fine.

    I really wanted to make the 3 ingredient pumpkin cake you posted a while back but decided against it because I didn’t want to be stuck eating a whole cake by myself. But this is perfect! I can make just enough for myself. Thanks for the super easy recipe!
