Are you obsessed with pumpkin recipes like I am?

Every year around this time, I find myself going through a lot of pumpkin spice blend as I whip up various recipes during the holiday season. This got me thinking about how it may be beneficial to make a larger batch of spiced seasoning to use in all the recipes I plan on making instead of buying the blend!

I love the aromatic smells of ground cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg and clove.

These easy-to-find individual spices can quickly be mixed up and used to make everything from pumpkin spiced coffee creamer, pumpkin pie, and pumpkin spiced bread, just to name a few. Plus, making your own spice blends in general is usually more cost effective especially if you already have these spices on hand at home!

Hip Tips:

  • You’ll need to grab these seasonings individually. To save money, buy seasonings in bulk or look for them individually at Dollar Tree.
  • Spice blends make great DIY holiday gifts! Put a batch into a small 2 oz. glass jar as a thoughtful gift for a fellow pumpkin spice fan!

Love this! Pumpkin pie spice prices go way up around here in the fall and aldi has cheap individual spices! Thought of doing this before but never knew the quantities 🙂 thanks!

I made this last year in a huge batch. Bought the spices at WINCO bulk and triple blended it in my food processor and put it in beautiful jars that sealed well. Put a ribbon on them and added some recipes and gave them out as neighbor gifts – about $3-4 each.
