We celebrated Valentine’s Day by making special memories.
Melinda and her hubby enjoyed a special date night at their church. ❤️ After an incredibly rough month losing her Dad, just 6 months after losing her Mom, they were able to enjoy a night to themselves.
One of the most memorable things from their night was receiving this book, Love Dare, which will carry into the next 40 days as they learn how to rekindle and love each other unconditionally in new, discovered ways.
Collin loved the book idea so much, she already ordered one for her and her husband and we just posted a deal for it since it’s currently on sale!
Erica tie-dyed some shirts with her kiddos for Valentine’s Day.
Our favorite tie-dyed kit is currently on sale on Amazon (under $17 shipped!) so it gave Erica and her kids a reason to get crafty! Don’t they just look adorable in their new shirts?! 😍

Lina’s new floors are complete and she’s getting things back in order.
We had high expectations of Lina’s new floors and we couldn’t be more in love! While they originally planned to be on vacation during the whole process, she and her family managed to get through this reno project seamlessly. In fact, they even repainted downstairs and added molding to the walls! It’s like they’re living in a completely new home! 😍

You may have already noticed, but Lina’s also been adding some new home decor to her recently renovated space too. She recently scooped up this faux fiddle leaf tree and a trendy boho planter which couldn’t look more perfect, just like her floors! 🤩

Emily has big plans for a space in her home too.
It must be something about the end of winter that has us all dreaming up amazing home projects, and Emily has also been tackling a few of her own. She just recently added this round mirror which she scored at Target for just $45 and even comes with a convenient kit for easy hanging. It inspired her to go big at home and redesign this section of her living room.
As you can see, we’ll have more to report back with soon regarding this home project! 🤩
I have my own project in the works for my daughter’s 6th birthday.
It may not look like much now, but these pieces of wood are going to be the biggest surprise of my daughter’s life come April! I scored this Playhouse Pottery Barn Bed on Facebook Marketplace in perfect condition for just $520 which would have cost me $2,435.88 brand new. 😳
After selling a few things of my own from around the house, I recouped $350 making this incredible score just a mere $170 – that’s a savings of $2,265.88! 🤣

I’m still on cloud nine from this score and have it patiently stashed away in our basement until her birthday. I cannot wait to show you the finished product come April! 🥰

Jenna and her family adopted the sweetest new doggy.
Our Hip hearts are bursting this February with the new addition of Missy! Sadly, she came from a divorce where no one wanted her. 🥺 She also currently has a severe bladder infection, a double ear infection, is 23 pounds overweight, and still needs potty training at 5 years old. She also doesn’t know her name or how to walk on a leash so their family is essentially starting from scratch.
However, we know she couldn’t be with a more loving family now!
Jenna says Missy is the sweetest girl in the world and is so gentle with all their kiddos. Just look at that precious face! 🥰 Welcome to the Hip fam, Missy! ❤️
Gary’s making moves in the sticker industry.
As you can see, Gary is totally thrilled about his new stickers Angela scored on Sticker Mule where you can grab 10 for just $1. The deal is currently available and you don’t need a dog as cute as Gary to have a reason to score these custom stickers! 😉

Oh, and in case you were looking for an even better Gary update… we found out he has a sister. 😯 More on that later…
Shane scored an $88 roundtrip flight to Arizona.
With some flights being so cheap right now, Shane was able to score a roundtrip flight for under 100 bucks and do some exploring in Arizona! However, he did say that with a cheap flight comes extra costs, like paying to bring your luggage.
Regardless, he had an amazing time and we thoroughly enjoyed his awesome photos!

Something incredible came from Shane’s trip, too.
Shane knew our Hip sidekicks, Lina and Chelsey, lived in Arizona (which spans 390 miles at its widest point) so he thought what a great idea it’d be to ask for sightseeing recommendations on Slack (our business messaging platform)…
Come to find out, Lina and Chelsey discovered they not only live in the same state but are just a 5 MINUTE WALK from each other’s homes. 😱🤯
Ya just can’t make this stuff up! 🤣
We still can’t get over it and are living vicariously through their recent coffee meetup! Cheers, ladies! 😍
We didn’t forget about Stetson this month either…
While he’s not one to share much of his behind-the-scenes, he did want everyone to know he’s just out here, battling harsh winter weather trying to find you all the best deals. If you’ve ever wondered how he gets from one store to another…well, now you know. 🤣

A big shout out to Jenna for taking in Missy. If you need any help or suggestions in getting her to lose weight, I’ve got experience with that. Our dog Woz (a former guide dog for a blind man) gained 53 pounds (that is not a typo!) while he was a working dog. The guide dog school released him to us (my husband and I were his puppy raisers) and over several months we were able to get the weight off safely. Missy is one lucky pup to have you and your family!
