Welcome to the new site!
As you can see I have a made few changes. 
After Blogger disabled my site on Friday, my crack team of web developers decided to work all weekend and finish the brand new Hip2Save site, instead of waiting for Blogger to respond. We have put all the requests in to Blogger to get the old site back, but they have not yet responded. On a positive note, my awesome web design team had already exported all the content and comments up to last Friday, before blogger locked my blog. They were able to import over 5,000 posts and 90,000 comments from the blogger site! Yay!
Obviously the design is all new and I really hope you all like it. I have worked really hard with my design team to make a more modernized website that will work on all browsers, mobile phones and other platforms.
The new site has a bunch of cool new features and functions:
- You can now subscribe to Twitter, become a fan on my new Facebook Page, and subscribe to my other feeds available.
- The categories are all new and are easily accessible at the top of my site. The main categories are listed in the top navigation bar. This goes across the top of my site under the logo. You can also scroll through all the categories available by clicking on the “Show All Categories” on the upper right hand side, below the “Follow Me” box.
- I have a link to my top 5 posts of the day. These are the posts that are most viewed by readers. Click on the “Daily top 5” for those. This is located to the right of the “Show All Categories” link.
- There are now “Share via Twitter and Facebook” links on all posts. If you find a deal you like on my site, this option will make it very easy for you to share these deals with friends and family. Read more about how to do this on my feeds page.
- We have a list of most of the stores I have posted about in a box on the right hand side. This box is called a Tag Cloud. Basically, the bigger the text, the more posts I have about that store.
- The main stores that I post about on a regular basis have store guides available. These stores are Walgreens, CVS, Rite Aid, Walmart, and Target. You can access the store guides by either clicking on the “Store” tab in the top navigation or by scrolling to the bottom of the site and clicking on the store guide images on the right hand side.
- I now have a video player on the right hand side of the site to show the “Follow Me Monday” video posts. You can click on the arrows below the player to see all the videos I’ve posted or use the play button to watch the current video.
- Finally, there is a bunch of new info at the bottom of the site. This includes info about me, links to my favorite printable Coupon sites and all Couponing 101 posts to help you get started.
There are a lot of other features in the works, so stay tuned for those!
I am now ALWAYS going to use the domain name hip2save.com and I now have my own servers hosting the site. Yay! Why am I saying Yay? Well, blogger can’t mess with me anymore!:)
Please update your bookmarks and RSS feeds to the new domain. You will always be able to find me at hip2save.com. I promise, I am not going anywhere!

The google RSS feeder only shows a header with a small imprint now, not like before where it showed the whole article. Is there a way for me to update?

I always used to click on the specific stores to read the deals for that store before I headed out shopping, but I can’t find that on the new site. Is there a way to see all the Target deals (for example) at once instead of scrolling through all the in-store deals? Thanks!

@nicci I am having the same problem right now. I only have a Walmart and Kmart and grocery stores never before heard of (punishment for living in small town SD). I did try clicking on Walmart but there is only one personal post there, no deals. Maybe it is just not all set up yet. Waiting for completion, thanks!

Collin, I fell in love with your old site and am now kind of lost. I can’t figure out how to search on this site, or find older posts…maybe they aren’t transfered over yet? Also, I have been trying to catch up on your Follow Me Monday clips, but it never works. It always stops or has no sound…the system on your old blog worked great. Any way to change it back?

This doesn’t really count as a question, more of a comment really that makes me proud and I feel like its a nice thing to share. As I look through coupons I realize that while there are a ton I will use, there are many I will not use. I clip a few here and there that have good deals and keep them separate from the coupons I plan to use and as I do my shopping, I come across the products I’ve clipped the extra coupons for and place them beside the product or on top of it, in hopes that when the next person comes to buy that product, if they didn’t already, they now have an opportunity to save some money. Even if only 30 cents, in this day and time, it adds up! Just an Idea for those of us who tend to overclip. Give it a try, it’ll put a smile on a strangers face and make you feel strangely good about yourself!

I am new to your website. A woman at krogers gave it to me on Fri Jan 21st, and im so more $ now! She was shopping at Krogers cuz she just found out about thier double coupons up to $1.00 (only at some krogers…) I bought $176.00 worth of groceries that day, and only paid $91.00. Cant wait to learn more!!!

hello Collin, thanks for being very coupon savvy. I am very intererested in using coupons everyday. I am all about saving money.. I was wondering if you knew of any other websites that I can sign up for to recieve more coupons through the mail. This website is very helpful in finding and printing coupons, but I watch your follow me Monday videos and you have a ton of coupons and I was wondering if they were all posted on your website or am I lost in finding these savings? please help if possible.
