Suffer from frequent heartburn?

If so, you’ll be happy to know that Walmart now offers Omeprazole Orally Disintegrating Tablets (also referred to as ODT) for heartburn treatment. This Equate Omeprazole works as well as national brands at a fraction of the price and there’s no need to clip coupons! Sweet!

Walmart Deal Idea:

Equate Omeprazole ODT 42-Count
Just $14.97 (regular price)

When you’re battling heartburn, the last thing you want to do is worry about swallowing a pill. That’s where Equate Omeprazole ODT comes to the rescue with this new orally disintegrating pill! The tablet easily dissolves on your tongue, and has a great strawberry flavor, so you can tuck it in your purse and take it on the go without water

Use as directed for 14 days to treat frequent heartburn (occurring two or more days a week). May take 1-4 days for full effect and is not intended for immediate relief. Do not take for more than 14 days, or more often than every 4 months, unless directed by a doctor.

I’ve been using the Walmart brand version of Zantac for years. It works great!

That’s true for all medicines FYI. Read the active ingredients on the box. They are regulated.

Costco has their brand and when it goes on sale it’s less than $11 per 42 doses. (I live in colorado and it goes on sale about every 3-4 months)

If you are able to take a capsule you can get your doctor to write a prescription for the regular omeprazole, and it may be cheaper that way depending on your pharmacy. It’s currently 90 capsules for 12 dollars at my local pharmacy.

Agreed! I used to buy store brand OTC until I realized a 30 day supply costs me less than $3 with a prescription!
