8 Easy Ways to Organize Your Life in 2025 (Many are FREE!)
Read our tips on how to organize your life in 2025!
Feeling overwhelmed? We’re sharing easy ways how to organize your life in 2025. Make every day feel stress-free with our easy solutions.
1. Use your Alexa for all our daily reminders.
- Echo Pop – $39.99
- 5th Gen Echo Dot – $49.99
- Echo Show 5 – $69.99 (reg. $89.99)
- Echo Spot – $79.99
- Echo Studio – $199.99
Why you need it to stay organized:
- Set reminders for yourself any day, anytime.
- Doubles as a way to listen to music, an alarm clock, someone to answer your questions, tell you the weather forecast, and so much more!
The reminder feature on Alexa is life-changing for anyone who often forgets to do things. All you have to do is say “Alexa remind me tomorrow at 11 AM to…” and she’ll take care of the remembering for you! 🤩 It’s truly a busy mom’s lifesaver!
Alexa even automatically recognizes when reminders are important and will ask if you’d like to be reminded hourly until you’ve told her you’ve completed the task. 😍 This could be for anything from canceling a membership before your free trial runs out, taking out the trash, or scheduling that doctor’s appointment you keep putting off.
2. Use Google Keep as your digital notepad on the go.
Why you need it to stay organized:
- Easily create notes, checklists, and more on the go.
- It’s FREE.
The best part about Google Keep is that it’s a totally FREE way to stay organized and doesn’t require the purchase of any app, product, or service to start using it. Sweet! 🤩
Google Keep will keep you extremely organized and will feel like your walking notebook. Compared to Evernote (IYKYK) which will run you over $100/year (if you want any extras), it’s a no-brainer. With Google Keep, you can write notes, create checklists with checkboxes, and access it all from your phone or desktop when you log into your email. We even love that it gives you the ability to personalize your background, font color, and more. Plus, when creating lists it will conveniently recommend items to save you even more time.
3. Keep all your drawers and cabinets organized with The Home Edit items.
- The Home Edit 10-Piece Clear Plastic Modular Bath Edit (shown above) – $24.98
- The Home Edit 8 Piece Multipurpose Edit – $24.98
Why you need it to stay organized:
- Keeps your stuff organized and it stays organized per our 1+ year of testing.
- Sleek, clear acrylic design to make it easy to see everything.
- Sturdy and long-lasting product.
- Fit perfectly in many different spaces.
I’ve been using my Home Edit organizational products for 3 years now and can confidently say they’re worth the investment. Over the years, I’ve tried countless organizational products especially when it comes to my drawers and under-cabinets and this brand has hit the nail on the head!
They’re thoughtfully created to give everything in your home a place and they actually stay organized with daily use. As long as you’re putting stuff back neatly, of course. 😉 Plus, the acrylic is thick and durable so it can hold multiple heavy items with ease and each stackable container is easy to move around in small spaces.

4. Take one day to plan for weekly meal planning.
Meal planning for the week – FREE!
Why you need it to stay organized:
- Makes your weeks run more smoothly.
- Better chances of using all the food you buy – i.e. zero waste.
- Stress-free meals when you already know what you’re making.
The amount of stress meal planning will take off of you is incredible if you dedicate just a little bit of time to your upcoming week. For me, I usually meal plan on the weekends when I have a little more downtime and can plan out our week ahead. This also ensures my family is eating everything we buy. Besides, who has money to waste food these days?
I also find staying on top of meal planning makes our week run more smoothly and my kids always know what to expect for dinner without asking (most days 😉). If you aren’t already taking the time to meal plan, commit to 10-20 minutes every week (or every other week), plan each day’s meals, make your shopping list, and then do your grocery shopping. As a tip, keep a running list during the week when you think of meal ideas, and pin your favorite recipes on Pinterest. This will make creating your lists of ingredients much quicker.
As a bonus, you could use a delivery service like your Walmart Plus Membership to bring all your groceries to you and save time going to the store altogether. 👏🏻

- Organizes all upcoming events in one place.
- Helps with meal planning and household chores.

- Sleek and beautiful.
- Doubles as a picture frame when idle with a monthly plan.
Many of our Hip sidekicks own the Skylight Calendar to stay organized! It offers many perks like syncing directly to your phone’s existing calendar, displaying meal plans, keeping track of your grocery list, assigning chores to kids, and more! 🤩 It will even sync to team sport scheduling apps and have real-time updates when games get canceled. 😱
No more trying to write all your activities into a tiny square on a wall calendar or crossing out events when they’re rescheduled. This calendar is AWESOME and we know it’ll be any household CEO’s dream come true. You can even control it all from your phone! 🙌🏼
Note that some of these amazing features will require their Plus Plan. However, it’s super affordable at just 11¢ a day/$39 a year!
Sticking to a paper planner in 2025? Some of our other Hip sidekicks swear by The Happy Planner. As our Hip sidekick, Jenna P. says… there’s just something therapeutic about writing it all down.
7. Set clear goals for yourself.
Setting clear goals is the foundation of an organized life. When you define what you want to achieve, you give yourself direction and purpose.
Start by identifying both short-term and long-term goals, ensuring they are realistic and aligned with your values. Then, break these goals into smaller, actionable steps to make them more manageable and less overwhelming. For example, if your goal is to improve your health, begin with specific tasks like drinking more water daily or scheduling three workouts a week.
I recommend grabbing the Atomic Habits book to help you create new daily habits for life and break ones that are tough to overcome and may be holding you back.
8. Don’t forget to take care of yourself so you can create a truly organized & fulfilling 2025.
Taking care of yourself is essential for maintaining an organized and fulfilling life. Your physical and mental well-being directly impacts your productivity, decision-making, and overall happiness.
Self-care isn’t a luxury; it’s a necessity that ensures you have the energy and resilience to tackle your goals and responsibilities effectively. When you prioritize yourself, everything else in your life becomes easier to manage.
Here are important things to do for yourself in 2025:
- Prioritize getting enough sleep to help recharge your mind and body.
- Incorporate regular exercise, even if it’s a short daily walk, to boost your energy and reduce stress.
- Eat a balanced diet rich in nutrients to keep you fueled and focused throughout the day.
- Make time for relaxation and hobbies to prevent feeling burnt out and promote creativity.

Taking my break from cleaning and organizing my drawers, cabinets and closets. I saw this post and thought that it’s spot on! I’m older (age only, I act like I’m much younger😂) so I have a lot of stuff that I shake my head wondering why I needed to keep it for so long. It feels really good to get rid of stuff that makes me have to constantly deep clean and organize two times a year. I’m doing it right this time. One time and done! Love your post! It’s very helpful and inspiring for me to continue. Thanks!
