Thank you so much for this post! Now, if i were making these to give as gifts, what’s a good way to present them?

Dollar tree has some nice cheap already packaged giftboxes … Then you could just wrap them in plastic set them in the box and viola .. Youd be good to go.

    • Mel

You could put them on a pretty plate and wrap in cellophane. Dollar Tree or Michaels for cute themed “take out” boxes.
Lina posted a tip not long ago using alum foil & saran wrap containers as cookie containers. I didn’t feel like painting them, so I glued wrapping paper around the box and sides. Then I lined parchment inside. You could use brown craft paper to stencil or stamp them.

You’re welcome! I agree with them^- hit the dollar store for cute containers. 🙂

Could anyone recommend a site or youtube video where I could get a good cookie recipe. Not the sugar cookies one because my kids cannot eat those. I want to make cookies with them but all I can find is sugar cookies recipe everywhere. They would love to make some cookies for grandparents this year. Thank you in advance. Happy Holidays!

    • Colleen

I got all my cookie recipes this year from Pinterest. I’m talking like 8 non-sugar cookie ones. I just typed in Christmas cookies and a ton came up!

    • Mel

Search ‘best ever chocolate chip cookies’ or whatever type you’re looking for. I’ve got tons of non-sugar cookie recipes pinned b/c we’re not big on those.

I put mine in the treat bags/ribbon .. for individual servings. The craft stores have boxes of every size in the candy section. I then use the red & green tissue paper from the dollar store. ,place in the box ,tie with ribbons. Done And now that I have these new recipes ,I will have more of a variety to do my boxes .Thx so much for giving me an easier holiday. !!!!

      You’re welcome! 🙂

Lol it’s deceptive to say something has only 4 ingredients when one of them is pre-made cookie dough. On that token, I can make 1 ingredient chocolate chip cookies!

    Thank you ladies!

You’re welcome! Those sound delish, too!
