Bath & Body Works biggest sales happen in June and December during their Semi-Annual Sale.

Every end of December through January and June through July, Bath & Body Works has its amazing Semi-Annual Sales which is undoubtedly the best time to shop. You’ll see better than Black Friday sales at this event. You’ll save up to 75% OFF select items so they can make room for new inventory. Last year, we saw 3-wick candles back down to under $10 each.

Each Semi-Annual Sale lasts for about 3 to 4 weeks.

Historically, the winter sale starts the day after Christmas and runs through January ending on a Sunday. During the summer, sales begin around the second week of June and run through early July and have also always ended on a Sunday. You can even expect to see free shipping promo codes over the 4th of July weekend which is really convenient if you plan to shop online. Last year, the sale ended on Sunday, July 3rd, 2022.

Just keep in mind that online sales tend to be structured differently and you’ll instead see different sales each day such as BOGO free or money off your purchase.

However, if you’re shopping in-store, be sure to check your mailbox as they often send out coupons before both sales and you can stack any valid coupons you have, unlike online shopping!

Hip Tip: Be sure to join the Bath and Body Works Rewards to score the latest news and coupons. Also, did you know they’ll accept coupons up to 3 days before or after their coupons expire? So don’t trash them!

Candle Day in December is the best time to stock up BIG TIME on 3-wick candles.

Here are some other Bath and Body Works savings tips to keep in mind:

1. Shop during the big sales and go back for a price adjustment later.

We know you don’t want to miss out on your favorite scents, so shop early and go back later to possibly get some money credited back to you. Bath & Body Works will make a one-time price adjustment from the original selling price to the current selling price if a purchase you made becomes eligible for a promotion, sale price, or special offer within 14 days of your original purchase.

According to their site Flash Sales, select promotions lasting 48 hours or less, Candle Day event pricing and email offers are not eligible for price adjustments. For all other price adjustments on an online purchase, call them at 1-800-756-5005. For in-store purchases, bring the original receipt to one of the stores so they can adjust.

2. Score free wrapping essentials in-store to save on gifts for this year.

Are we going to be able to stack the coupons online? Or do we have to be in store to do that?

    • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

Hey there! It looks like when you purchase online, only one coupon code can be applied per order; however, you are able to stack coupons in-store. Hoping this helps! πŸ’•

I love B&BW but I feel like they have become quite shifty lately. My mom’s favorite scent (Moonlight Path) pops in and out of stores willy nilly. One minute I can get it, the next I cannot. So I’m forced to shop online and I lose out on coupon codes I have b/c you can only use one online. I heard someone in store on Black Friday ask about another scent and the associate said that it will be back right after Christmas and she, too, seemed disappointed she had to order online for the holidays. I don’t care for that at all, these days. Their B3G3 on BF was not a good deal for most items, either (Wallflowers were cheaper after, same with soap). I don’t know, I feel like working their coupon situation to get the best bang for your buck is really hard to do these days.

I heard that rewards members get to shop for candles on Friday. Any word on that?

    • Trish (Hip Sidekick)

Hey there, Janell! We have all the details on early access in this post if you’d like to check it out! πŸ’•
