Grab These Free Amazon Prime Credits Ahead of Prime Day
Amazon’s next Prime Day event runs October 6th and 7th, and we’ve prepared a list of smart and easy ways to earn over $175 in Amazon credits to put toward your Amazon purchases!

Here’s how you can earn easy Amazon Credits:
1. Consolidate prepaid cards onto one Amazon gift card.
Turn leftover prepaid card balances into Amazon spending money! To do this, head over to Amazon’s gift card reload page and combine smaller amounts into one lump sum; just note that the minimum reload is $5.

2. Score an instant gift card upon approval of an Amazon Prime Rewards Visa Signature card.
Prime Members can score up to a $175 Amazon gift card instantly when approved for the Amazon Prime Visa Card. There’s no annual fee, and you earn up to 5% cash back on purchases.
3. Get an Amazon credit when you’re approved for an Amazon Store Card.
Prime members approved for an Amazon Store Card can score an Amazon gift card (we’ve seen up to $100!) There’s no annual fee and Prime members get 5% back at Amazon.com and Whole Foods Market.
4. Become a member of the Amazon Shopper Panel to score free Amazon cash.
Hip2Save readers and team members absolutely LOVE the Amazon Shopper Panel app (iOS | Android). The Amazon Shopper Panel app is an easy way to earn Amazon gift card rewards through surveys, uploading receipts from purchases made outside Amazon, and completing select offers. It’s invitation-only, but you may be able to join the waitlist.
5. Watch for opportunities to earn FREE credits with an Amazon eGift Card purchase.
In the past, Prime Members were able to get a $5 Amazon Credit with a $50 Amazon eGift Card purchase. We don’t know whether Amazon will offer a similar offer this year, but we’re hopeful!
6. Watch for a potential bonus credit when you use Amazon Reload.
Previously, Prime Members who were first-time users could get a $12 gift card bonus credit for reloading an Amazon e-Gift card with $100+ in a single transaction using Amazon Reload. While this offer isn’t currently live, we have our fingers crossed something similar pops up soon.
7. Look for no-rush shipping rewards.
Keep an eye out at checkout for the option to earn no-rush shipping rewards on your Amazon purchases.
You can sometimes earn a digital reward or an instant discount by opting for a slower shipping speed (typically about a week). Keep in mind that these rewards usually only apply to select items.
Other ways to score a deal:
Earn points toward e-books.
You can earn points to redeem for future book purchases. Look for the number of points listed near the “You Earn:” information on the product listing of eligible items. Earn 300 points, and you’ll get a $3 credit towards your next e-book!
Score a gift card on your next electronics trade-in.
Trade in your old electronics to get your estimated trade-in value sent as an Amazon Gift Card. Some trade-ins also give an additional discount on an Amazon device. See the Amazon Trade-In Rebate Program webpage for more information.

I’ve been on the shopper panel since beta and love earning credits for normal shopping. I always do my fetch rewards then Amazon shopper panel. It makes it way easier to remember.
I am on the app. But, so far, I only received the surveys. when I click on “Submit a Receipt”, it says there is a wait list. I have been doing the surveys since February, 2023. How long does it take to be able to submit receipts? I would love the opportunity. Any suggestions?

I was on the wait list forever, and finally was invited to join in Feb 2023, but I am only able to do surveys. Receipt submissions are wait-list for me still. As far as the surveys go, there have only been 3 for me to take so far.

I signed up for the Prime credit card a couple years ago and have not regretted it. Heads-up that the card also has no fees to use it internationally (no foreign transaction fee), which was a surprise to me. I didn’t have another card with that benefit, so it has been a real game changer.

I downloaded the app and am able to get credits for my receipts without being invited. I got a $1 credit so far just today 🙂
When I first started using Amazon shopper panel it was easier to get to $10 but now it’s much less earned for receipts. I don’t think any receipts are worth a dollar anymore? I still do surveys and enter a receipt ever so often. I’ve earned $248 since I started in 2023.

You are correct! Most receipts are only worth .10. Also there is no cs. If your receipt is valid and rejected, they tell you to contact Amazon. No one there knows anything about the Shopper Panel.
I’ve been submitting since November 2020! When you could make $10 with 10 receipts- now you’re lucky to hit ten with 40😢
I have been on the Amazon Shopper Panel waitlist for YEARS now!! It NEVER changes! It just says thanks for your interest in the panel…”you are on the waitlist”! This has been years of waiting! Any suggestions?

I want to warn everyone that my account was hacked twice in the past six months. We are extremely careful with our crazy passwords and credit cards. I have two factor authentication ( which did not happen with the two fraudulent orders this week). I know it’s a pain, but take your credit cards off and your addresses. You will have to add them every time you place an order. There is no fraud or security dept. You have to work through the regular cs and it is frustrating. The first time this happened the fraudster also stole our gift cards. It took over 6 weeks to get them back.
I just want to warn you so you do not have to go through what we went through.
