Tuesday, October 6th, 2026 is the next National Taco Day, and we’ll be rounding up some of the best deals and freebies that restaurants nationwide will be shelling out for the occasion!

Here are the best National Taco Day freebies and deals that were available in 2025:

Tacos for just $1 each at Abuelo’s

On October 7th, 2025, guests could add a crispy seasoned beef or shredded chicken taco to any entrée for just $1 each at Abuelo’s Mexican Restaurant. This special was available all day for dine-in guests, and there was a limit of three add-on tacos per entrée.

BOGO tacos at Chronic Tacos

On October 7th, 2025, Chronic Tacos treated its loyalty members to an exclusive app-only deal: Buy One Taco, Get One Free, plus an additional $1 off.

This offer was only available through the chain’s rewards program (free to join).

Anyone dressed like a taco got a free entrée from Chuy’s.

Chuy’s celebrated National Taco Day 2025 by giving away free entrées! All you had to do to get a free entrée was dress like a taco, post a photo on social media, and show your server!

Daily deals and free weekend delivery from Del Taco all month long

Del Taco celebrated Tactoberfest throughout the month of October 2025. They posted daily deals in the app and on deltaco.com, plus they offered FREE delivery with a $20 purchase every weekend in October!

Two taco deals from Laredo Taco Company

On October 7th, 2025, Laredo Taco Company offered the following deals:

• 2 for $5 El Gran Tocino Breakfast Tacos: Crispy bacon, fluffy eggs, and melted cheese wrapped in a warm, freshly made tortilla
• BOGO Lunch Tacos: Grab any lunch taco and get another one free!

On October 7th, 2025,  Moe’s Rewards members got $2 Tacos at participating Moe’s locations. Note that there was a limit of three $2 tacos, and this offer excluded the Three-Taco Entree and Kids Taco Meal. To claim this offer, you had toapply this Reward in your Moe Rewards account at checkout.

Nestle Toll House gave away free cookie taco kits.

Nestle Toll House gave away limited-edition Cookie Taco Kits on National Taco Day 2025, November 6 (peak tailgating season), and December 4 (National Cookie Day).

Taco Bell Rewards members had multiple ways to celebrate National Taco Day.

On National Taco Day 2025, Taco Bell rewards members could snag a limited-edition National Taco Day T-shirt, followed by $1 Cantina Chicken Soft Tacos every other hour from 11 AM to 5 PM. Then, at 7 PM, Taco Bell gave away 100 grand prizes – a year’s worth of free Taco Tuesday drops with a $160 Taco Bell Gift Card!

Taco Bell also offered $5 off Party Packs all day via the Taco Bell app, and BOGO tacos when you ordered through DoorDash.

On October 7th, 2025, Taco Cabana offered two taco deals all day long:

BOGO tacos from Torchy’s

On October 7th, 2025, Torchy’s Rewards Members got one FREE taco with the purchase of a second taco! Members could check in at the register or kiosk in-store to apply their reward.

Velvet Room loyalty members could participate in Velvet Taco’s Taco Week Challenge from October 5th through October 11th, 2025. Guests who purchased a taco during this period received a free taco reward valid 10/13/25 – 10/17/25!
