It is the first recipe of the link indicated in the post which takes you to freezer meal post at

      Teriyaki Chicken

      Fill a freezer bag with:

1 and 1/2 pounds chicken breasts, sliced
      1/4 cup soy sauce
      1/2 cup packed brown sugar
      1/2 cup Teriyaki sauce
      1 tablespoon sesame oil
      3 carrots sliced
      1 green bell pepper sliced
      1 teaspoon ginger paste
      1 cup chicken broth
      3 cloves garlic, minced

To Cook: Place thawed contents in a slow cooker and cook on low for 7-8 hours or high for 4 hours. Optional: To thicken sauce at the end, whisk together 1/2 cup of the cooked sauce with 2 tablespoons cornstarch and pour back in the slow cooker. Turn cooker on high for an extra 10-15 minutes so sauce can thicken. Serve on top of rice and garnish with sesame seeds if desired.

Oh that cilantro lime chicken looks so good! My littlest daughter and I LOVE cilantro, but hubby and the other 2 kids won’t touch it! I might have to make a batch just for the two of us to have on leftover nights!

  11. Kristen

Does anyone happen to have a good nacho recipe or cheesy/rotel dip recipe? Doing tacos this week and want to have some to go with!

  12. momof7

Try using boneless thigh meat vs the breast! It doesn’t get dry and chewy like the breast meat can.

    • Lina D

      Great tip!

  13. Bethany

Where do you find cubed chicken? If I need to boil it and cube it for the recipe, it isn’t quick and easy like I would like it to be. Just wondering what others do.

  14. Kay

Cooked my first slow cooker meal today: chicken pot pie soup. Got the pot from previous H2S deal at Kohl’s btw. Anyway, modified the recipe by adding more veggies n by not shredding the chicken. Fam loved it. Will do it again on cold day. Happy to find a recipe that will stay. Look forward to trying more recipes. Thanks so much. Luv all the help fr H2S.
